Favorite Resort Fast Dining Spots

I've found that some of the best dining spots are the ones where you can just get something light to eat that's ready-made, and be quickly on your way again. I'm not always in the mood to go to a sit-down restaurant, though they're nice too, and enjoy just grabbing a sandwich and a drink at times. I've found the Roaring Forks fast-service spot in the Wilderness Lodge to be a great spot to pick up something quickly. It seems as if each resort has at least one place like this, such as the Polynesian's Captain Cook's. What are your favorite spots like this within the resorts?

Captain Cook's

The Contemporary Resort's Food and Fun Center is good,
but I like the Polynesian Resort's Captain Cook's Snack Company
better. The Hawaiian chicken sandwiches are good when you're
looking for something that isn't fried.

Now if they would only bring back the shreaded bbq chicken
sandwiches. Now I'm getting hungry.

Captain Cooks is my all-time favorite quick eat at a resort. It serves up standard fare at my favorite resort, and it's close to the MK and monorails, which is a big plus.

The Cotton Mill at PO Riverside is also a very nice place to eat. It's not as busy as the other resorts' eating areas, and the selection of food is good. Their drink bar is also very well equipped (they even have slushes once in a while)

Chicken Strips Basket at The Food and Fun Center at
Disney's Contemporary Resort.
And some honey-mustard to dip your strips in.

It just doesn't GET any better that that.

All-time fave's are the Port Royale Food Court (CBR) and Capt. Cook's - always a visit after the MK. :) My mom found the perfect late-night sandwich @ Roaring Forks the first time we went to Wilderness lol, so we'll be taking a 2nd trip there next time.

Several times on my last Disney vacation, I just stopped at the Roaring Forks for a tuna sandwich and a drink and was happy as could be. I may be doing that a few more times, although I'll probably check out the other places like the Food and Fun Center or Captain Cook's.

I agree! We loved the Roaring Forks when we stayed at the WL last year. It was perfect for a quick bite of breakfast, or a fudge brownie after coming back from the parks at night!:slurp:

Out of the ones i've been to, i like roaring forks, although i've never been to old port royale b/c we usually keep our own food @ the resort we stay @ (usually OKW) and eat what we have there.
