:slurp: Top 5, hmm?
1. Cinderella's Royal Table, Magic Kingdom. Just having a reason to do something inside the castle beside look at mosaic tiles or shop gets this restaurant on my list. The prime rib puts it at #1.
2. 'Ohanas, Polynesian Resort. I'd still be in there eating if my family hadn't all left me alone to go back to the park. Great view of the pool and lagoon looking back to the Magic Kingdom. It is hard to complain about the price of the meal when the food is so good and they serve you more than you can eat.
3. Sci Fi Theater, Disney Studios. This is a lunch favorite only. Don't get fancy with the food - just stick with basic lunch and splurge for a milkshake or ice cream sundae desert and enjoy the big screen theater, retro convertible and air conditioning.
4. Whispering Canyon Cafe, Great Wilderness Lodge. The skillet was more food than any of us could handle. So good! Extra points for giving the kids free bandanas. That's right, bandanas. If the Great Wilderness Lodge was on the monorail track, it would be hands down the best at Disney. It might be anyway.
5. The Japanese restaurant at EPCOT Center. EPCOT has to have a restaurant on the list. Without the restaurants, EPCOT would have to close its doors. The Japanese restaurant (the one with the hibachi grill) is always entertaining and a good meal and even reasonably priced, so it gets the nod in a tight contest.
I have more than 5 favorites, but these are at the top of the list today.
