Favorite Place to watch MK fireworks

What is your favorite place to watch the MK fireworks? We usually take a spot in front of the castle to watch the parade and wait for the fireworks, but are there some other, not so well-known places to watch and still get the show? How soon do you need to get there?

This past September, as soon as we arrived at WDW, we headed over to Magic Kingdom. The fireworks show began a little while later and from where we were (on the Fantasyland side of the passageway through Cinderella Castle), you had an incredible view of the show. I'd gladly take that spot again the next time around.
