In that case missy, I am 1 year, 3 months (not counting feb), and 8 days away from getting my first red solo cup. Should equate to June 3rd, 2014. Will just say 462 days much easier.
Lol. How did you know my name? Oh, you stalked my profile. ;) I've actually tried alcohol before. In MD, it's legal to drink at home with parental consent. I found out that half of one is enough for me, so sitting in the bar drinking...probably not the best idea.

You can go to Canada and legally drink...not the Epcot Pavilion. The real Canada. You hook a left around the big silver ball and keep heading due north.

Yeah Maelstrom is fun. Funny thing is the last time I went to the World 2 years ago with my family, it was the attraction we had to wait the longest to get on (55 min). I also love the sequence of the ride you are traveling backwards. Unfortunately though, the state of the attraction ain't up to par. But then again, the majority WDW attractions aren't. Only thing I don't really care for with this ride is the post show (really boring to me and needs updated).
Last time I was there, I walked straight through the theater at Norway. Didn't stay for the post ride show. You don't have to sit through it, it's not like they can force you to stay in there.

I have to know and get a full understanding of my blogger buds.:D In PA, underage consumption of alcohol is prohibited with no exceptions. Though I have sipped a few totti's at NYE parties.;) Yeah for Canada and even Italy, if you're of teenage age you are legally able to drink. Love the Martin Short reference.:)

I didn't want to, but my parents and rest of my traveling members wanted to see it. Talk about a wasted 10-15 minutes of my WDW vacation/life. Now that were aware of it and they hated it, we are not even going to bother sitting in it. I just looked/played on my Rogue phone while it was playing. Having said that, I love the Canada and China films.

Well we've (me and my family) have only been their 9 times. Go figure. Good tips. Great scott, you mean to tell me you go to the world on average 2-3 times a year while living in Baltimore. Congrats and more power to you.;) But hey with NG/Interactive queue elements coming soon, there will be no worries waiting in longer standby lines <sarcasm>
Why yes. Yes I do. The flight from Baltimore is only about 2 hours, and my dad somehow always gets good rates on Southwest. If we lived closer, like within a 3-6 hour driving distance, I'd be there more. By the time I was 5, I'd been there nine times ;). I know all this is heavy...

Actually, I'll only be going twice this year. We're heading to Disneyland in June. I'm graduating and that was my pick. We're going to Aulani after Disneyland. I've already been once to WDW this year. Next trip is in August for two weeks.

Yes the interactive queue. So much better than Temple Run and Angry Birds, which currently keeps me occupied in line. Not. Actually, I refuse to wait more than 30 minutes for any ride. We waited 50 minutes for Star Tours when it first opened because my brother and I really wanted to ride it. Other than that, we'll wait 40 minutes for Toy Story Mania at the end of the night. Or we'll wait for the later Fantasmic! to start about 40 minutes before showtime. We manage to get a lot.

This is WDW Magic, in a thread about World Showcase. Martin Short references are a must. :D It's interesting to read the alcohol laws by state. In South Carolina, you can drink at home with or without parental consent. Florida is like PA, no exceptions. Which really stinks for my cousin who would love to drink and has a weird fascination with it (probably from our aunts, who all drink and if you spill your drink, yell "Alcohol abuse") but can't. Honestly, I'd rather they just drop the age to 18 and leave it at that. Oh, I guess we could go to Puerto Rico and drink. Legal age is 18. Don't even need a passport.

Yes, I like to know about my fellow bloggers too. It usually helps if I know more about who I'm talking to, which is why I fill out as much of it as I can. It saves questions.

You made the right choice for your summer trip. Have fun. The way I see it, you're always going to wait in a line be it in standby or fastpass since this place is the #1 tourist destination in the world . Now there's those once in a blue moon days when all attractions are literally walk ons, but we just decide to wait in standby most times so we can chat it up with random strangers/guests. Well back to World Showcase, what's the update on that Morrocan water restaurant anyone?

When I was there in January, didn't see any building on it yet.

In Wisconsin a person under the age or 21 can drink anywhere with parental consent. However, if you go to either Iowa or Illinois, a parent can get in some trouble for allowing it. I've heard some humorous stories about not knowing the laws in other states. :D

I like so many for different reasons.

I love the store in the Japan pavilion! It's really cool and full of culture.

I love France (And speak some French), so I'm naturally biased towards the France pavilion.

Morocco was done so well, too! It really feels like Morocco (I'm assuming... lol)

They're all so good!

Tough to decide!!
We love each pavillion for different reasons. We spend a lot of time in the shops in Japan and China...so much to see and purchase. We love the margaritas in Mexico...lol. Germany is fun, France is yummy, UK is cool.
See, I really cannot decide.

I must say that until a few years ago I never really liked Epcot (ducks to dodge tomatoes flying) because we thought it was boring. But we really started liking it a few years ago when we stopped and smelled the roses...you know what I mean. ;) Our kids really like it now, too.

I have so much stuff from Japan. Mainly ChocoCat stuff. Our place mats for the dinner table also came from Japan.
I speak Spanish, so yes, I'm biased towards Mexico;) , though I love France. Chefs de France is my favorite restaurant.
As I posted earlier, Morocco feels like the real thing because the king of Morocco sent his personal architect to work on the pavilion so every detail would be perfect.

I like Canada ( Off Kilter).
UK ( Red phone booth always fun/yummy food @ Rose&Crown/great entertainment!)
France ( the cologne shopppe : cute guy selling fragrances)
Japan ( just beautiful)
Italy ( the entertainment is funny)
Mexico ( my boys like the boat ride/great atmosphere/DONALD!)

I really can't pick just one! I love them all for so many reasons!:)

The reason for this is when Disney was building World Showcase, the king of Morocco sent his personal architects and artisans to help design the pavilion and make sure every detail was perfect. This is the only pavilion in which the government of said country assisted with the design.

Is this true? Can you tell me where you got this information? My husband is a historian and has thought about doing some work on the relationships between Disney and the governments of the different showcase countries during the building of World Showcase.
