Another reason Disney should pay attention to our boards...
the Sorcerer's Hat seems to be a success. Seeing how Disney Studios never had a strong symbol before, I can understand this, and besides that, it is very nice. But, look at the difference on the EPCOT Ball. It seems that Disney should do something to put the color and characters into EPCOT, but the hand is just so huge and kinda weird (is Mickey actually 500 feet tall or more and living underground?). No, they should have just put a giant Mickey Ears Hat on SE.:lol:

Plain Spaceship Earth all the way! It's just so big and wonderous! It's interesting to me that if you combine the votes for SE with and without wand, it is currently (as of this post) only one vote behind the castle!! I would never have guessed that!

And despite much griping that I have heard elsewhere, the Mickey Hat at MGM seems to be a success! I can't wait to see it in person in two short months.

BTW, love your avatar, james4023464! Not much longer now! I'll at least have Mario to help me wait for WDW!

I have to say Mickey's Sorcerer Hat. I love Cinderella Castle with all my heart but this is only the topic of favorite Disney World park icon. My most favorite Disney icon, period, would have to be Sleeping Beauty Castle. It maybe small, but it is the original and in front of it stands the original Partners Statue.

But, in WDW, Mickey's Sorcerer Hat got to me. Maybe it's just because it's new, shiny, and really cool looking. The Chinese Theatre was great for a while but thats not showing Disney authenticity. It is just a copy of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, but the Hat is an original.

Cinderella Castle is huge, and I love it! You can see it from miles away. It has a great place in my heart but all together, it makes it on my list as #3.
