Hi everyone,
This is my first post.
I was just wondering what everyone's favorite memory was from any Disney trip?

Mine was my honeymoon. My husband and I took a 2 week honeymoon at WDW in 2000. The day we went to MGM we had a wonderful surprise. We had turned the corner to head down Mickey Ave. and what to our surprise did we see?? They had changed Mickey Ave. to Tigger Ave. and Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore were all out to greet guests. Well, I have been a Winnie-the-Pooh fan since I was a small child. The first book I remember was The Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh. Well, we got pictures with all of them and I had a smile on my face that just glowed. My trip was complete and my honeymoon perfect.
It is great to be a big kid in Disney. :D

Oh man

My biggest memory would have to be 2 years ago in March when I went to MK and met this girl. We hung out all day, we met back the next morning and went into MK again and spent the day together. We just hit it off. Being shy and respectful, I didnt want to look like a jerk so I never kissed her, so towards the end of Haunted Mansion of all things she leaned over and kissed me. 2 years later, we're happily married after spending a 2 week honeymoon at Disney and will be back in March for our 1 year Anniversary.

Boy from Charlotte, NC meets girl in South Florida at Magic Kingdom, falls in love, moves to South Florida, and visits Magic Kingdom regularly and lives happily ever after. Only Walt could make this story happen!

I met my wife down there in a high-school band trip. It poured at Magic Kingdom and we all wore these yellow ponchos. That was the best time for us. Although, this April will be better because this is the first vacation we have ever been on by ourselves because we usually go with friends or family! Woo hoo! :animwink:

My best memory is from January 2003. My wife and I were SCUBA diving in The Living Seas. During the dive I spotted a small girl in a wheel-chair in the observation area. I swam over to her and waved. She looked sad and gave a shy wave back. I gave her a big wave in return, took my regulator out of my mouth and blew bubbles while smiling. She started laughing and waved back a big wave while grinning ear to ear. Her parents were behind her and gave me a thumbs up and mouthed the words thank you. The dive was so much fun we did it again over this past Thanksgiving.

Ok well I have a few funny little incidents that were fun for me. One was my whole entire Senior Trip/Grad Nite. That literally was the best trip of my life I had an awesome time. That night at midnight we had just finsihed eating fries and we stepped outside and the fireworks started for Grad Nite, that was cool. Also funny moment that night my friend Jen and I took our shoes of because we were only allowed to wear nice shoes to Grad Nite and some cop started walking towards us and we kne exactly what he was going to say and we dropped our shoes and put them off. I know it sounds stupid but we were sooooooooo afraid of the disney cop that it was funnny.

Another funny incidient to me was when my best friend and I went to disney together and we were on ToT and we got stuck and the lights went out and i screamed oh ____*t and the whole ride started laughing. I was like oh jez sorry guys I thought we were stuck. It was really funny.....

I was but a wee lad...

Mickey's Birthdayland... seeing all the buildings that were my height. I felt like a grown up and it was so cool.

My favorite memory as in 1997, the first trip for our son, then 5 years old. We had just watched SpectroMagic from the hub in front of the castle, then waited for the fireworks. I held him in my arms so he could get a better view and about midway of the show, he turned to me and said "Oh Daddy, I wish I could live here forever!" I'll never forget that moment.

We have been back three other times since then, and a tradition with the two of us takes place on the last day of each trip. Our last day is always a return to the MK, and just before we leave, he and I walk over to the Picture Spot between the hub and Tomorrowland. He takes my picture with the castle in the backgound, and then I take his, then we leave. And we always get a little choked up, knowing that this means the trip is over

But in 239 days we get to do it again!
