My favorite memory is going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this past November. It was wonderful. The fireworks, the parade, the Christmas Memories projection show, magical frost on the Castle, snow on Main Street...it was all so beautiful and enchanting, in the classic Disney style. I am DEFINITELY going back next year. Halloween at WDW is great (I've visited the World at that time of year on 3 occasions) but Christmas is amazing and I can't wait to experience it again! :xmas:

Our first stay at the Boardwalk Inn...by how I really love staying in the part of the World. Hopefully we will get to back to the Boardwalk every other year. Merry Chirstmas and Happy Holidays to EVERYONE here on WDWMagic!!!! :sohappy: :xmas:

I have to agree with you . It was the first time i stayed here and was an instant classic. Wow, what beautiful resort. I hope to return to it as soon as possible :) Merry christmas! :xmas:

I plan to stay at the Boardwalk on my next visit. I've heard so many great things about it, and the pictures I've seen of it are beautiful!

Favorite memory on WDWmagic?

While surfing on the forums sometime in the mid-afternoon this past fall, I fell asleep in the chair I was in while I was still browsing around. I woke up about an hour and a half later, and hit reload on the main page so I could continue surfing. The Avatar announcement had popped up and received about 500 posts during my nap. My only thought upon seeing the thread title was "Must be another crazy fan idea to toss in with all the Twilight-land threads."

Favorite memory at WDW?

Going to Star Tours 2.0 about 2 weeks after it opened and being amazed that there were only 15-20 minute waits for it. As a result, we rode it 4 times, but were disappointed after that when the wait had accumulated to 45 minutes and we still hadn't seen Hoth. And as we stared sadly at the wait time clock and decided we wouldn't ride it, what should happen next? A kind gentleman gave us a set of fastpasses he wasn't using. We thanked him, used them, and sure enough, we got to see the Hoth scene. :D

Other than that, eating at Jiko with my family, and then walking around the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the rest of the evening. We seldom splurge on expensive restaurants, so that was quite the treat. And wandering the hotel was great, too - when we were looking at animals on one of the viewing areas after night had fallen, some CMs came over and lent us night-vision goggles! Very cool new perspective on the AKL savannah.

I have 2. Our son proposing to his girlfriend in the Rose Garden in June (all on video!). There were 7 of us, and she was the only person who didn't know about it, and she was floored (she said yes!).

Second would be my wife and I having our first dinner at Victoria and Albert's last week! What an absolutely wonderful experience.

Getting a room upgrade at two out of three resorts I stayed at this year.

Dolphin bumped me up to a room with two balconies facing Epcot.

Coronado Springs bumped me to a Junior Suite in Casita 3 facing the lake. Video to come on that.

Also, happy to see Tiki Room back.

California Grill....

My favorite memory from our Sept. trip was our dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary. After a rough start to the day with me leaving our party to go back to the room to lay down and take some medication we all joined back up and later that night went to our reservation. We had a fabulous view - the castle, the Grand Floridian, Space Mountain and the food was nothing short of amazing, which everyone agreed. Our CM was fantastic, the type who could answer any question you had about the food or menu and then although we could see the fireworks from our table, we ended up going out on the observation deck to watch Hallowishes while the music was piped in nice and clearly. It was even more special because my dad and his gf were with us having joined us for the first time on one of our family vacations. Everyone raved on and on about the night, the restaurant, the food and how the day ended on a truly magical note for us!

Merry Christmas to all :xmas: - and a Joyous New Year, too!

My favorite memory of 2011 would have to be staying at the boardwalk for the first time and going to the parks with my 2 other sisters by ourselves! It was a great year merry christmas!! :xmas:
