Favorite Light Up Merchandise!

My favorites are my 5 pins that came out for 100years of magic that interact with the parades.

I like those too. All I can do to them at home is touch them and they will go off only one way. Is there anyway to make them go off like they do at the SpectroMagic Parade or anything like that?

I have these cool glowing neon Blue Sunglasses that light up. I got it at Merchants of Venus and I wore them on TTA And as it goes through the Space Mountain area it was funny to watch all the people look up and just see a pair of glowing neon blue glasses floating by. :lol:

There are some really cool light-up necklaces they are selling at MGM this year with what appear to be very bright LED lights in multiple colors that flash randomly and are powered by a battery built right into the necklace!

They looked AWESOME in the Fantasmic stadium before the show started!

Looks like they would last a lot longer than the "glow and throws" they always used to sell!

It spins, it has pooh on the end, and three lights that change colours with spins. It was 10 bucks. I got two.

Ooh, ETA: A light up rose. A guy attendant bought it for me, kissed me on the cheek, and said I was the most beautiful gal he'd ever met. *He was a Swedish worker, so hot, so gone, now. *
I still have that thing, it doesn't light anymore, but it's up on my wall of "special" souviners. *I get a lot of gifts from guys on all my vacations. lol*

I love my pink flashing mickey mouse ears with the fuzzy stuff. The ones with the batteries near the ears. Theyre the best at night, but they are cool enough to wear during the daytime! I love those things. I bring them with me everytime I go!

The pink, bobbing, flashing, Mickey Mouse ears are too cute. During "Reflections of Earth", all three women in our party turned theirs on, and the pictures had to be taken a thousand times to get them all lit at the same time.

We still have our light-up rose from 3 years ago!

my sister has one of thoes tinkerbell wands that light up and have a star on top

it's cute when she plays with it, especially when she tries to turn our parents into frogs at bedtime :lol:

Since we're more into the "Happiest Celebration on Earth", there minght be some new stuff out... so I brought back this older thread and was wondering if anyone else wanted to share their favorite "Light-Up" Merchandise at WDW or DL or and Disney park with us.

I don't know exactly what it's called, but a couple of trips ago, my DH (a Buzz fan true and true) bought this Buzz Lightyear pen thing that had a button on the side that you pressed and it would light up and spin. I think it's my favorite because when he would play with it, he looked like a kid in a candy store. I love seeing that side of him come out, away from the suit and tie he has to wear everyday. I like seeing him enjoy Disney, because before me, he wasn't really a big fan of WDW. Now we go twice a year! :sohappy:

I got the 100 years of magic button with the castle & Mickey on it. I keep the little plastic thing that stops it from lighting up so I could safe the batterys when I wasn't useing it.

My husband had the light savor thing that expands out. It's like a knights lance that lights up and expands.

I got a tiara from Fantasmic last year. It has a button and it lights up. Coolest thing since sliced bread.

My boyfriend had bought that for me at Fantasmic a few years ago. I loved walking around wearing that down there!

My daughter has the globe with the Mickey ears that makes different patterns inside it. She has a few of the ones that has a character on top that has the 3 "arms" on top and when you press a button the all spin. She has like 3 or 4 of those and she also has Tinkerbells wand. That is one I recommend not getting. It does not turn itself off. You need to hold the on button in for a few seconds to turn it off. It is to easy to turn on by mistake and then have the batteries run out.

Anyway, she has so many now we let her take two on the trip and she does not get anymore (though she does ask)....

That one and the wand are the only ones she uses at home. The others with the characters and the spinning arms get the batteries taken out and when we go on a trip she gets to pick two out. I think they are like $12.00 a pop or something. Gets expensive so we don't want to buy anymore because once they are spinning they all look alike so it does not matter if they are Buzz, Cinderella, or whoever.

I would rather buy her something different I guess...

I try to buy the light-up picture frames each year. I'm hoping I can find a second one because I already bought a 2005 one in February but I want another 2005 one for this trip.

BTW - if you like glow necklaces hit walmart or the dollar store before your trip and stock up! Much less expensive that way!
