Favorite Disney Attraction of all.

Well, favorite attraction should be the one you go to most often, so that would be The American Adventure.


But, I think the fact that I rode the Matterhorn at DL twice while we were there, that has to be my favorite. I am still amazed at how well Walt Disney could theme a ride and make it so almost anyone could ride it (35 in, not 40). It was the best ride at DL.

My favorite ride of all time would be Horizons. Especailly because of the orange smell. I would have to ride over and over again to get this Disney fix.

This topic is always a hard one for me but my absolute favorite Disney attraction of all time was the original Journey into Imagination.

I also love the Haunted Mansion, the Pirates of the Caribbean, the American Adventure, the Hall of Presidents, the Kilamanjaro Safaris, the Carosuel of Progress....and there are just too many in second place!

I would have to say my all time favorite attraction would have to be the Haunted Mansion. Some of my other favorites would have to be Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Mr Toads, The Very Merry Chrismas Parade and the original Journey Into Imagination.

Tower of Terror, hands down, love the theming of that ride and the feeling I get with the drops, can't help it!!! I also love Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, TTA (so relaxing) and of course the Haunted Mansion (never get tired of that one).

I'll add another vote for Haunted Mansion. The only other Disney attraction that comes close is Tower of Terror. The theming on both rides is amazing.

I guess though if I had to choose only ONE ride or attraction as my favorite, it would have to be POC (Pirates of the Caribbean)

Why you ask?

From the moment you get near this attraction you are entertained and are smiling.

First you spot this adorable little talking Parrot dressed like a pirate sqawking. "Yo ho Yo ho...a Parrots life for me!":lol:

Then you walk through these cave-like tunnels that actually look like pirates might have dug them out and you feel like pirates might be lurking around every corner.:lookaroun
The sounds and smells are amazing and it's a nice way to get out of the Florida heat too.

Then the ride itself is so amazing...so much to see...so many pirates..some happy...some mad...some drunk and sleeping with pigs...it's kind of like the real world..hahaha

After riding this attraction dozens of times, I am still amazed when my boat goes into the room with the big ship. It's like you're really outside.:sohappy:

Even when the ride is over this attraction is great because they have one of the coolest gift shops on property!!

My favorite I would have to say are the Mad tea cups I just love making whoever goes on it with me turn green from turning too fast :lol: also love winnie the pooh as you can tell from my name I love tigger and friends (not pooh and friends):lol:

So many go through my mind since my first visit to WDW almost 19 years ago to my latest visit last July.

Ranking them as the soon to be 30 father of three...

1. Space Mountain...the classic Disney-style thrill ride...when roller coasters were "fun"

2. Pirates...pre PC'd version of course, although the current look is still pretty classic

3. Hall of Presidents...go see that on July 4th like I did, and as much of a political junkie I am, you come out waving the flag like never before

4. The walk down Main Street USA...sorry that's not a true ride or attraction, but that first time I walked it this summer with my kids holding my and my wife's hands was beyond words.

My favorite Disney attraction is the Tower of Terror. This attraction has everything: magnificently detailed theming, an interesting storyline, "air time" (I love thrill rides with negative G's), and ultra-cool visual effects. I savor every second of this attraction, from queue to exit.

Second is Splash Mountain, for all the reasons FourFourSeven so eloquently stated.

Honorable Mentions: MuppetVision 3D, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Space Mountain.
