As of now, Yak and Yeti is on my table service list for my upcoming trip. I'm wanting to do a mix of old favorites, and places that haven't been tried yet. A friend recommended Yak and Yeti, and the menu looks amazing! For those that have been there for dinner, what's your favorite dish? I'm the most indecisive person ever when it comes to food, so any recommendations, etc. would be great. Thank you!!

We've never had a bad meal there. Is it as great as our local place, no but our local place is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really can't go wrong. The guys love their Kobe burger, salmon and rib eye. They had a few other things they liked but are sadly no longer on the menu. Just be warned some of their mixed drinks are rather strong/inconsistently so, I suggest trying one of their sakis

My most ordered meal is starting off with Pork Egg Rolls, followed by Shrimp Lo Mein and Fried Rice. Finishing up with Mango Key Lime Pie.
Weve also had Salmon, Kobe Beef Burger, Duck and Coconut Shrimp on other trips.
The dining area we prefer is on the upper level.
Weve always received huge portions of food and attentive servers. When we do a 14 day trip we always arrange to dine twice at Y&Y.

The pet peeve I have with all of these restaurants is that they end up removing everything I like. I'm still PO'd about Raglan getting rid of the Beefy Murray, and then the Ham Schnitzel.

Y&Y used to have a great Mongolian Beef dish. Not there anymore although there are still beef options.

When Kevin Dundon left, a lot of favorites went away :( For Y&Y we usually get something off of the seasonal specials menu. Last fall it was the seared tuna with shio peppers that I kept coming back for, that was absolutely delicious!

Bhaktapur duck is my son's all-time favorite, and I second @networkpro on the recommendation to try something from the seasonal specials menu, which has never led us astray.

DH and I always start with the Ahi Tuna Nachos (which are enormous), so I'd say that's my favorite "dinner" item, since I'm so full afterwards, something small like a bowl of soup or a seasonal-special egg roll is about all I can handle.
