We loved the Beach Club and the closeness of the other resorts. The pool was great but the lazy river was closed one day and the entire pool was closed on our other resort day. In this case it was really nice having other pools nearby.
The difference in price is enough that with the refurbs Beach Club may get another visit from us. But the history of the Contemporary and Polynesian are still a huge draw!

Contemporary is our favorite deluxe resort. The monorail is very convenient especially when you have an early character breakfast booked either at Epcot or the other surrounding Magic Kingdom resorts. Being able to walk back and forth from the Magic Kingdom is another added bonus. The rooms are spacious and who doesn't love the view of the Magic Kingdom! The Contemporary has us spoiled!!!

consider the Wilderness lodge, great price , good location and lots to do for the kids. The lobby is great and the Whispering Canyon resturant is a hoot for all. Lots of fun , oh did I mention good food, ask for the bucket of meat and never ask for the Ketchup.

If you're torn between resorts it's not that difficult to do 2 resorts in 1 trip either. We're thinking about doing it in May of 2016 and BC and the Contemporary.

I'd go with the Grand Floridian or one of the Epcot Resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club)
