Favorite Classic Ride

I love all of these rides....so difficult to choose just one. I have voted for the Cofp that is a true classic.

Spaceship Earth is my favourite, I think the mesage in the spiel is a very important one. But its still run close by myt old mateys the Pirates, Ahh Harrggg. A vast behind ya land lubbers.

They all are really cool but I love the haunted mansion, with space mountain and PotC in close.

With as popular as Peter Pan is, you'd think they'd have more "flying" rides. (flying = overhead track)

My vote had to go to Spaceship Earth, I was suprised in hasn't done better in the poll. To me it the ride that always gives me that "Disney" feeling.

I agree, this was a hard poll. But after much consideration I chose "Spaceship Earth", because it's the best of the best. I'm not a fan of slow moving rides but this one just clicks for me.

My favorite is the Haunted Mansion. The best time to ride ? Dusk. Just before the sun goes down, but not totally dark, then you hear the wolf howl.....always make the hair on the back of my neck stand...

my favorite classic ride has to be the WEDWAY People mover, before they changed it to Tommorow Land Tranist Authority. I remember when i was little going on it all the time, i just loved that ride so much.

OK. So my favorite is not on the list. But then again my favorite is now apart of yesterland. I remember going on this one when I was about 3-4 years old at Disneyland, I think it was in the late 70's. The reason its my favorite is because it is the very first ride I can ever remember going on with my family as a child. I hope I remember the name correctly. I beleive it was "Journey Through InnerSpace," Is that the right title? The part that sticks out the most in my mind was standing in line and watching the ride vehicles shrinking infront of you, then being inside and seeing this big eye looking at you through a telescope. I just thought that was the coolest thing when i was a kid. Does anyone else remember this ride, or am i just crazy.:lookaroun

It was a cool ride. It'd be really lame by todays standards. It was sent to Yesterdayland by the arrival of Star Tours. You can still see the "mighty microscope" in the Star Tours film after the "wrong turn" before they leave for endor. It's in the background.

My favorite part was at the end, they had one of those tacky fountains that dripped oil down strings. (remember those?) But it was 2 stories tall! And you could run your hands over the newest brands of artificial grass and indoor/outdoor carpeting. OOOOOh AAAAh.
