All of the smoking sections. LOL.:D My husband is a smoker, so we just take advantage of a quick break. Nice places to "strike up" a conversation with others.:D

I figured with all this negative talk in the discussions we have a cheery thread the parks all have their flaws sure, but they are still a great experience without a doubt. So my question for you guys is what is your favorite spot to relax, reflect and get away from crowds in the parks? I have several, over at magic kingdom the walkway on the right of Cinderella's castle near sleepy hollow refreshments they always have benches, but we never use em. Instead we like to sit on the side concrete and watch the parade go by in the comfort of the shade. Over in Storybook circus the brick walls near dumbo are great to stop and have a treat and people watch at night plus I feel story book circus looks best at night. My favorite has to be that little street to nowhere on main street. For Hollywood studios I think the streets of america (Not during its crowdedness/usefulness during the winter) especially the san Francisco street sometimes we just sit in front of the Chinese shop and talk for abit. Epcot really anywhere outside, there are tons of nice spots to sit and absorb scenery I like the pathways through flowers near innoventions. As for animal kingdom my favorite are the trails underneath the tree of life, especially near the catfish grotto. How about you guys?
for me: MK-tomorrow land terrace. normally quiet.
AK-any bench before crossing the Africa bridge waiting for the parade.
HS-small coffee shop of sci-fi cafe.
Epcot-grabbing a drink & a table in front of Rose & Crown.

At MK it's the benches when you walked up the steps to the train station. We chilled there for an hour on our last trip when it rained and it was so peaceful looking over Main Street, watching the people mill about and listening to the music. On the 2nd day we were there we spent some time up there again.

At epcot we love enjoying a margarita at La Cantina and looking over the World Showcase.

Great question. MK, we love sitting at Cosmic Rays outside facing the castle, or right by the wishing well to the right of the castle from the front side. EPCOT, the International gateway, so quiet and unknown. DHS, Little Mermaid statue, everyone goes around it, just sit there and watch, no one else will. AK, Between Asia and Kilamanjaro Safari, so many water features, Tree of Life, unused boat docks, ect....

Not really in the parks, but pretty much every time we go we stay at port orleans french quarters and I always enjoy at night walking back towards the lobby and finding a bench to sit and relax. Either that or sitting in the lobby, people watching/listening to music. Only 5 more days and I'll get to enjoy it all!

MK- The train station overlooking Main Street. The old Swan Boat dock or also known as the Rose Garden area. The footbridge looking back at Tom Sawyer Island along Frontierland.

Epcot- It used to be the Stave Church...I would sit in there and reflect and listen to the music loop. No more though... Pretty much anywhere around the UK area. Love the ambiance and such.

HS- The Muppett area I guess...

AK- Flametree BBQ seating overlooking the Asia area during offtimes from lunch. The boatdock between Africa and Asia looking at the Tree of Life.

A bad day at WDW is pretty much better than sitting in Wisconsin during the winter months...

If you post it, they will come! There is no upstairs at Colombia Harbor House, I swear, I looked, no really. Try the hub, super quiet and relaxing, very secluded. ;)

MK: Upstairs at Pinocchio's.

DHS: There's an little tuckaway area in the vicinity of the ToT with a line of stone benches and a lattice work ceiling. It's a great place to get out of the sun for a bit, plus there's a water fountain.

Also in DHS, there's the Writer's Nook. I sure hope it gets Starbucks coffee in the near future...
