What is your favorite section in the All Star Movies resort? I know that some are preferred/standard, but it's been quite a while, and I'd love to know how people feel about them (especially since the renovations are now done).

i think 3 years in a row we stayed on the 1st floor of the fantasia section around the corner of the sorcerer’s hat. it was nice & quiet. we made a habit of walking through the hat every time.

Fantasia is what looks most appealing to me, but I was afraid that it would be too noisy. Good to know that there's at least one spot that isn't.

we did face the pool once. we were on the 3rd floor & it didn’t bother us. but the times we had that spot on the 1st floor with a garden view, it was pretty quiet. we also stayed in toy story once which is also preferred. we liked it, but we were near the loading doc & i heard it every morning around 4-5am like clockwork.

I stayed in the Love Bug section. These are not preferred rooms (so it was cheaper), but it did not feel far from the center of things. My first floor room faced trees and was very quiet. I'm a child of the 70's, so I love Herbie and have no complains!

We recently stayed in Mighty Ducks building 3 on the back side. We were extremely close to the street to cross over the Music. I would stay there again just for it being so close to Music. The main pool was always busy at Movies so we walked over to the main pool at Music and it was literally 2 minutes from our room. We used Music's buses also since it was such a quick walk. And when placing an mobile order, the food court at Music popped up first from my location sitting at the Duck Pond Pool.

Well done!!
Mighty Ducks is attractive for the exact reason you state…it’s close proximity to Melody Hall.

@mf1972

The Mighty Duck is a decent choice as you can walk to Melody Hall or Cinema Hall as well as catch busing at either.

The All-Stars busing has had negative press in the past as one of the long term bloggers posted they “always shared busing amongst the three”…we never had that issue/experience back in the day, but others seemed to. Regardless, nowadays it doesn’t happen often, and Pop/AoA share more often.

If you don’t mind walking, and are looking for peace, the Love Bug BLDG 7 is your best bet…it even has a very small, secluded dedicated parking lot…keep in mind you’ll be walking during the day anyway, so will you be okay at days end with another trek to your room? We choose seclusion and don’t mind the late night stroll….
