Father's Day Gift?

I think i saw a similar thread recently along the lines of a magazine subscription, but i was wondering, what people had as ideas to get my dad for fathers day while we are down there starting later today (horray!). hes almost impossible to shop for, because whenever he wants or needs something, he goes right out and gets it! gift cards are almost pointless, because he usually forgets he has them! so i figured, maybe there is some souveneir he would like or some experience i could treat him to. any ideas from you dads out there?

Depending on how much money you are spending, there's a variety of things you could do. I have considered getting my dad the Richard Petty driving experience, I know he would love it. There's various packages, so you could maybe get a small one, or get one & split it with other family members?

Maybe booking a really nice dinner at one of the resorts or parks & surprising him with it would be nice. Actually I'm not sure if your dad is there w/you, or if you're just shopping for him while you're there...so these might not be helpful.

I'm assuming he is there w/you. Booking an Illuminations cruise to watch the fireworks would be an awesome experience. They're usually booked up, but there's always cancellations so you could call and see about that!

Or depending on how much he likes Disney, or if he has favorite characters, you could try to find something in the parks. Disney has so many great things from shirts, to car accessories (great for dads!), to things for the kitchen/garden/house. Try downtown disney for all kinds of options - you know your dad best, and I bet there's something perfect for him there.

I can shop for anybody but my Dad. I've used "Edible Arrangements" before. It worked as easy as flowers for Mom. But they are a bit pricy, especially w/delivery.
