Fastpasses and cancelled hotel room reservation

I have a reservation at a Disney Springs hotel and will make my FPs at the 60 day mark. If I cancel the hotel reservation within 30 days of my trip, will I lose the FPs? Thanks!

I think you are ok within 30 days. Might give a call to guest relations just to make sure.

I thought if you cancelled a hotel reservation, all the FPs made associated with that reservation were also cancelled... OP, be sure to come back and let us know how it worked out for you.

If you cancel a reservation, any FPs for the duration of your cancelled stay will probably be deleted.

Some people have been lucky, but plenty of others have lost all their FPs even when within the 30 days and with tickets still linked.

YMMV.

if you cancel a hotel reservation with 60 day access i think you have 24hrs to link another hotel booking number with same access . if you dont stay on site after cancelling one with 60 day access you will lose all booked fastpasses . smarter move is to make new booking then cancel old booking if both are on site . otherwise everyone book room only to get fastpasses and cancel booking within 30 days

You lose them if you don't have another on sight room booked. If they allowed you to keep them people would just book rooms to get to book at 60 days out and then cancel , which sounds like what you are trying to do.

If your FP+ were booked with your resort reservation 30 to 60 days out, then yes, your FP will be deleted with your resort, unless you book another qualifying resort within 24 hours. This was a loophole people were using to be able to book their passes at 60 days out.
