Fastpass story

Here's something thats kinda interesting about the Fastpass system.

Last week on my trip I noticed that the time on the bottom of the Fastpass ticket in which you can receive another FP is not necessarily 'to the minute.' For example, we got a FP for Space Mountain first thing in the morning and saw that we could receive another Fastpass after 11:10. So we went over to Big Thunder Mountain a little later in the day (around 10:15) and after riding that went right over to Splash Mountain to get a Fastpass. Well by that time it was only 11:00 but just out of curiosity we put our ticket in to see if it would give us a FP. It did! So i'm guessing it's one of two things:

1) the Fastpass kiosks are not set to that same exact time
or-
2) there is a grace period before the actual time listed

Just some I noticed on my past trip that was sorta strange.

That's happened to me before... Also, we had my aunts and cousins extra ticketes (they didn't go to WDW with us this time, so it never got entered before going into the parks) But for Soarin, I put those 3 in to see if they would give me extra fast passes, and sure enough they did

That's interesting. We had annual passes last year, and my dad flew home for work for a few days, so we went to the park without him. My mom accidentally used his pass to enter (yeah, the finger-ready-y thing didn't catch it...), so when we tried to use her ticket to get a fast pass, it wouldn't give us one. We finally figured out that my dad's ticket had been used (we were hoping for the extra fast pass), but it was kind of strange.
All in all though, I'm glad the WDW system works as well as it does. Other parks that try something similar just don't cut it after using the Fast pass system here.

i almost always get new fastpasses before the time it says.. i think the longest before was about a half hour.
