As stated, be sure to use in the specified window! There aren't any. There are a few FP distribution machines that will give you a "Surprise Fastpasses" but the Surprise ones are for things that don't require a FP, anyway.
You can use an app, like Lines or My Disney Experience to check the current return times for FPs currently being distributed. That might save you a trip across the park if you are waiting for a specific time period.
Other than that, there are no secrets. You get a FP, you use it within the time window and stand in a shorter line.![]()
When you get a FP, look at it. It will tell you when you can get another. You don't always have to wait to use the current one. A lot of people don't know this.

Just looking at that fast pass for Splash Mountain makes me wish I was there to ride it right now! Thanks for the tip also. When you get a FP, look at it. It will tell you when you can get another. You don't always have to wait to use the current one. A lot of people don't know this.

What is it and what's the age?Depending on your age, I know a trick that can get you on the fastpass line without a fastpass..
I just used the My Disney Experience app for the first time this weekend and it seemed like the wait times (and fastpass times) were only updated a few times throughout the day. There were several times I checked the app and the 'current' fastpass return time was many hours past; like checking the app at 2pm and the return time being from 10-11am. I know this app is relatively new so are they still working out the bugs or does it just not get updated very often? There aren't any. The return time is outside of the 2-hour window from the time the FP was obtained, so in this case of course you can get another one beofre using this one. But I echo the sentiment that one should always look at that time...I have on occasion obtained FPs that have a return time that's sooner than the standby wait time.I never noticed that! You just made my day.
