Fastpass for resort Guests

tbh i think a lot of people, especially people travelling from other countries who have to pay for extortionate flights, wouldn't be able to afford to get over there, get passes for the park, AND stay onsite. I sure know my family would probably never be able to afford staying onsite =/. So i think it's good that disney unlike universal have a free fastpass system.

There's been rumours (on here) of a "tiered" FP system. Non resort guests get a basic FP, Value Resort guests get some privelege, Moderates get more and DeLuxe get even more. As long as Disney doesn't go the Universal way and start selling those priveleges

Thats kind of what I'd like to see, maybe not as a tierd system, but allowing resort guests to obtain a certain number of FPs at their hotel. Maybe setting a limit of 3 or 4 but allowing them their choice of time.

It would take away some of the magic to have different classes of guests, like the Titanic did. It's fine to have more and less expensive resorts, and more and less expensive restaurants. But in the parks at the attractions everyone is inevitably mixed together, and they should be treated equally. This is why I never liked the YOAMD idea: if some people are singled out for special treatment, doesn't that imply the other 99% are less special in some way? Take all the millions spent distributing those prizes and lower ticket prices a dollar or two instead.

I love fastpass.:sohappy::sohappy: And I believe fastpass should be free. Its ridiculous to charge for fastpass,:shrug: especially if you have a large family. However I would love for resort guest to have less wait times. Oh by the way I heard that AAA members have unlimited fastpass (no wait Time) is that true?

I agree, I dont think that people should have to pay just to get the fast pass. I really like the way that it works now. It actually makes both lines move faster... If people had to pay for fast pass, I think it would make the stand-by lines even longer :lookaroun
