FastPass during Extra Magic Hours?

I have a trip booked for this summer and was wondering, does the Fast Pass system run during Extra Magic hours (at night or even in the morning)?

A few years ago, I remember the FP lines would still be open at night and the machines would give out about another 2 hours worth of tickets. Then last year there was no more FPs after the park officially closed.

I asked a cast member and they said they only ran FP during the EMH if the crowds were big enough.

Is this true? Has the FP system been running at all this summer during the EMH?
Fast Passes during EMH nights really helped since the lines are often super long. I was sad to see they changed their system. :shrug:

Yes, FastPass does run during EMH, but they run out at times just like normal hours.

It was running a few weeks ago in Hollywood Studios for the night EMH. It was crazy though. They were to restart the fastpasses at exactly 10:00, and people began lining up in front of the machines at 9:15. This was for Toy Story Mania though. I know most of them are probably not like that.

The lines for those machines were so gigantic by 10 - and they ran out so quickly. Then the ride broke down, and reopened at midnight, and they wouldn't accept any fastpasses because so many had expired. Talk about angry people & utter mayhem. :hammer:

In the MK, we were able to get fastpasses for Peter Pan as soon as we walked in the park during morning EMH, and the return time was after park's official open. So I think they are open for both sessions, but the evening ones restart over.

^I was just going to say that about DHS. The exact same thing happened when I was there but we had gotten our passes for TSm earlier in the day and then returned to the park. However, the ride broke down and we waited around in the park for about 2 hours and it never opened again so I didn't get to ride it. So I will just have to wait 13 days to ride it for the first time.

It does depend on the crowd levels, because I have been in Epcot for evening EMH when they run FP for testtrack and sometimes they don't.

During busy times FP can be gone by lunchtime on the more popular attractions - evening EMH or not

I'm an Epcot CM. Currently, according to the official CM "Tele-cast" information flyer, during EMH, only Mission Space is offering Fastpass.
