Fastpass Bookings - Best time slots to save time?

Hi All, I will be going to WDW 11-16 October (staying off site). I haven't visited WDW since the new FP+ system was introduced, although I have used the old system several times.

Can anyone recommend in their experience what the best time slots are to book for your fastpasses to save time? I would ideally like to have my FPs booked for when peak crowds are. Should I book my fastpasses for around 12, 1pm and 2pm? Or is it busier late morning and would I be better to try book for 10am, 11am, 12?

I think it depends on the park (and if it's tiered or not), and how much time you have in each one. For example, here's how it shakes down for my family:

- MK (afternoon FP+) - we spend 3 days there and we arrive at rope drop and get a ton done in the morning, leave for a 3-hour nap break after lunch, and return later, so we plan our FP+ for 11pm-12pm or 4pm-7pm, since that's when the lines are longest. There are so many FP+ attractions in MK that even mid-evening, we can still get a 4th for something we want to do, even if some of the biggies are gone.

- Epcot and HS, the "Tiered FP+" Parks (early morning FP+) - For Epcot, thanks to the fact that there are 3 giant headliners in far-flung corners of the park and only one Tier 1 FP+ allotment, our goal is to: (1) hit one headliner -- e.g., Soarin' -- at rope drop; (2) FP+ a second headliner -- e.g., Frozen -- and our two Tier 2 FP+, all in the first 3 hours after park opening, so we can burn through them and then... (3) hopefully get a 4th FP+ for the remaining headliner -- e.g., Test Track -- immediately upon using our third FP+. We do the same thing at HS -- rope drop 2 of the 3 biggies (e.g., RnR and ToT, which are conveniently next to one another) and get a morning FP+ for the other (TSMM), burning through our FP+ as quickly as possible (using GMR and ST as second-tier choices), and then make a 4th FP+ at whatever park we plan to hop to later, since HS is never a full-day park for us.

- AK (what FP+)? - If we arrive at rope drop and start with a Safari - Everest - Kali - Dinosaur touring pattern, we've never waited more than 15 minutes for anything, so we don't even tend to bother with FP+ at AK. Instead, we save our FP+ for whatever park we plan to hop to in the evening.

I'm saving your AK touring plan! I'm sure I'm not the only one, so now the waits will be 30 minutes!
