Here's a hypothetical...say there's a new ride going to open (that involves less than 8 little people with hats)..with the new Fastpass+ system, will this ride be in the system before the opening day or on the actual day itself? Any thoughts?

Not sure about that.. for example.. Elsa and Anna are on the website as standby only right now.. and they are definitely at MK now. So you either have to book FP+ at the Kiosk or they haven't implemented it at all yet.. I even checked months out and couldn't find a FP+ date to see them. My little guy wants to meet them so bad.. but there is no way I am waiting 2.5 hours for him to get 2 autographs and a couple pictures lol.

They have them...they've just all been claimed.

Wow.. all of them claimed for 6 months out?? That is crazy!

I guess I will keep looking for them this weekend and hopefully with all the cancellations this week (it's going to be a wet weekend) I can find FP+ for it.

Fastpasses only book 60 days out, so if you're seeing times blocked out for 6 months out, those are times that have not been unlocked yet. To my knowledge, no one can book six months in advance for anything other than ADR's.

I can see and book FP+ times through October right now.. not sure why.. but I can.

Must be a glitch. Disney has not announced any kind of ability for anyone to book Fastpasses beyond the 60-day arrival mark. Unless you are staying onsite for four months, starting in July? o_O

It could always be a test of some kind, I guess... but doesn't sound very likely.

Since this is the first new attraction that has opened since the introduction of FP+, it's anyone's guess as to when they'll start allowing FP+. It also doesn't help that they haven't officially announced an opening date yet.

They could start booking FP+ for dates starting on the official opening date.
They could decide to leave some buffer time after official opening to allow them to ease into things.
They could start offering FP+ before official opening.
They could keep you from actually booking FP+ until official opening day.

Way too many variables at the moment.

Anna and Elsa FP+ are available to book now up to 30 days out for offsite guests or 60 days out for onsite guests. I will be at MK on May 23 for the 24 hour day and was able to book 2 FP+ by getting on MDE at 12:01 am on on April 23. The first time I tried, I put in a request for 2 people with no luck. I then immediately tried to get it for just 1 person and it worked! Then after that I tried the "copy" option by requesting to copy the FP+ from the person with Anna and Elsa FP to myself and although it wasn't able to get me Anna and Elsa for the same exact time, it did give me one option for a time which had a 20 minute overlap of the first FP+ arrival times. So essentially all I have to do is make sure both of us get there within this 20 minute window and we will both be able to go in together. However I have since tried the copy option to see if I can get it to where the arrival times are the same, but have had no luck yet. This is because they are completely booked. If you just keep trying multiple times each day, you may get lucky if someone cancels a reservation shortly before you try, then MDE will allow you to book FP+. However you might have greater success if you request just one or two versus a higher quantity. Then if you do get some, try the copy option. If it doesn't work the first time, just keep trying periodically.
