Are fastpasses still available during the evening emh?

I got a fastpass for Space once during EMH. I think they turn off the machines at the end of regular hours and then turn them back on at the start of EMH. I'm not sure if they turn all the machines on or just certain rides.

Each night I have been there during EMH FP was always available on the major attractions. However if the queue areas were not long waits they were closed down shortly after. I was at the EMH in Sept, Oct, January and February for sure.

I know in Epcot, they're available at TestTrack only.

EMH and fast passes

Just got back from The World last night and went to the EMH evening hours at the Magic Kingdom. All the fast past machines were covered, no fast passes all evening. Also, it was very crowded, the lines were longer than during any other time during the 4 day trip!

The fastpasses are distributed only during peak at the parks during EMH, and then some are not. THey are ride-specific and not all of them are available. SOARIN' for example, distributed fast passes with ride times as late as 11:30 PM back in March!! The standby time was still two hours at that time, so I guess the fastpass was the best way to do that.

The lines during EMH are always as long as they are during the day -- we have had many discussion online here as to wether or not they are worth it or not, because the lines are NOT any shorter just because they stay open longer for the resort customers. The fact of the matter is, if all the resort visitors head to those parks that have EMH, there are MORE people there than any of the other parks on that day.
