Fast Pass + Suggestions?

Hey all,

Another quick random 1 night trip before our "proper" six nighter in October.

Flying into Naples FL to see my folks for a week on Tuesday(4/15) and driving 3 hours to Orlando that night. Spending night in a hotel off site Tuesday and then checking into Pop Wednesday morning. Taking first bus to MK and spending day with wife and 2 1/2 year old son. He loves the characters and will surely be very fun this trip.

Since now we are only allotted three fast passes I am trying to be selective (especially as this is during NJ spring break and sure to be packed). I wanted one of the big 3 mountains for wife and I (we will pass of Jr.) and then two hot tickets for my son.

As of now we have Big Thunder, Peter Pan, and Jungle Cruise (as he likes animals) set. Anyone think they'd do it differently? We are starting our day in Fantasyland to knock that stuff out, FP+ for Peter Pan at 10am and then working our way around.

I figured PP and JC are always long lines, so best to use them on those attractions. Any plan of action others would suggest?

I think those 3 Fastpasses sound great, particularly with you starting your day in Fantasyland.

If you want to do Splash Mountain (the other potential "big wait" in the MK), hit it very early or very late (or during a parade) to avoid a long standby line.

Also, if you think your son would want to do Enchanted Tales with Belle or the A&E meet-and-greet, you might consider swapping the Peter Pan FP+ with one of those... and doing Peter Pan right after rope drop, since you're headed to Fantasyland first anyway.

We do Fantasyland first too. Unfortunately after regular park opening time I think a lot of other people do too. Expect lines for PP and Winnie the Pooh to start building after that time.

As @MOXOMUMD said, wait times for Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh (and PFTH and Enchanted Tales, and to a lesser extent Dumbo and Little Mermaid) build quite quickly. If you arrive during the EMH, however, you should have no trouble (even on a high crowd day) getting most or all of the "big ones" in FL out of the way before the lines get out of control. If I were you, my priorities would be: (1) 7DMT if open; (2) Peter Pan; (3) Pooh; (4) Dumbo; (5) Little Mermaid. I would FP+ Anna/Elsa and/or ETWB, both of which are too time-consuming to be a good use of precious post-rope drop time.
