Fast pass / buses nightmare

Here goes, my family have been coming from the uk for many years, and we used to live the fast pass pick up points around the park, I do not agree with the booking of 3months in advance, some family’s it’s tough to pay for the holiday let alone the park tickets, which then if you can’t ford them straight away you have to miss out on the best fast passes , ie FOP, TEST TRACK, EVEREST ETC, and the App is deemed useless as keeps dropping in and out of Wi Fi , loads then crashes, last year went like a dream , this year terrible,as for Disney buses, what’s gone wrong there, not enough buses for our pick up at Pop century for Epcot, kids just barely awake ( not ours, left him at home ) one bus single length , then more came , but it’s crazy ! I think Disney has got so big now, they can’t cope with moving people around like they used to , they used to be so smart and organised , and we will still come back over and over , but these things above need to be addressed , you wait til Star Wars hits em! Now that’s queing . Thanks for reading

We just came back from POP and that was a constant problem especially if you had plans for dinner or fast passes. Sometimes we took cabs to certain destinations.

If I'm correct, the Skyliner Gondola is to help with this situation. I wanna say there's a PC AoA station, and the speculated talk is that you'd not have to wait as long for a cabin as you would a bus, and you'd get to one of the other stations just as fast... Maybe @Lift Blog or @marni1971 can clear this up for me? I remember the talk about it in the Gondola news thread, can't remember times etc.

Yes, PoP and AoA will share a station.

I agree with the OP about the MDE app and in park WiFi recently. Terrible.

I have to say, we just got back from Pop and in the parks, we never had an issue with the Wi-Fi, though this morning I was scheduling our FP's for December and I had trouble with scheduling for MK, all other parks I had no problem. I called and waited about thirty minutes and a CM corrected the problem for me.

As for buses, the crowds felt smaller this year (September) but the Pop buses were as terrible as ever. I will see in December how the buses, boats and crowds feel for The Dolphin, we have never had an issue with EPCOT resort hotel transportation.

It’s worth remembering that PoP will share gondola routes with AoA, Riviera and the CBR. Time will tell regarding capacity improvements.
