Fantasyland question

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum or if I've missed a thread about it.

My first trip to WDW was in 2010 when the old Fantasyland was there, and then my second trip was this past September on my honeymoon. I had no idea there was a new Fantasyland until I got home from my second trip. I don't remember a ton from the first trip because it was so long ago but also because I had no part in planning it or controlling what I did the whole time (I went with family for a 4 ear old's birthday and her mother planned everything and basically told us all our every move) so it was rushed and I didn't have much of a chance to take things in. So I really had no idea it was different when I was there in September, LOL.

So my question is, is there anywhere where I can see photos of Old vs New? When I google it at this point I just find reviews and such. I found the "History of" on the official Disney site but that's old. I wanna see before and after photos and videos, etc. I'm sure someone on here will point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Basically when you where there the first time there was a big construction wall. Now the wall is gone and there are attractions behind where that wall was.

Simple version.
There was definitely no instruction wall, that I remember. We were there January of 2010.

There definitely WAS a very long construction wall in Fantasyland in 2010, but the walls may have gone up after your visit. . And if memory serves, the walls were moved as each part of the new Fantasyland opened, with SDMT being the last area behind walls.

The only real changes to old FL was moving Dumbo to its present location, and closing Snow Whites ride to put in the Princess Fairytale Hall.

Mickeys Toon Town was closed and became Storybook circus. Rapunzel's restroom area was constructed at the old Gondola station near Liberty Square. Storytime with Belle, BOG , the Little Mermaid ride, and SDMT were built between Pinocchios Village Haus and Storybrook Circus.

Wikipedia has a fairly good overview of the Fantasyland redevelopment.

There was a wall there before construction ever since they closed down the sub ride. I can't remember the rides name? 20,000 leagues under the sea? Something along that theme because that was what the attraction use to be.

Okay looked it up. This is what use to be in what is now mostly the new FL.

The subs were removed completely in 2005 and replaced by a Winnie the Pooh playground. There were no walls until 2010. You can see it on the map above.

As I understand it, the ride closed in 1994 but the subs weren't removed until 1996, when the King Triton statue was installed.
But yeah, the lagoon itself was drained and demolished starting in 2004.

I'll have to go look up some pictures. What I remember somewhere around 2006 and after was a blueish greenish wall with some Winnie the Pooh stuff but not much of anything. Wasn't a construction wall but it was a wooden wall.

Like I said if I get the chance I'll look up the pictures.

The Subs queue area was indeed used as a Winnie the Pooh M&G for a while until it was demolished and replaced with the above area.

To settle it, the first, mostly discreet walls started to go up in February 2010. This was along the top of the berm behind Playful Spot and around Ariels Grotto.

The main east - west wall appeared in April that year.
