the latest would be around October/November since it's the holidays like what wdwmagic said. you should be good by the time you visit.

I think October/November is likely, but there are no 100% gaurentees here. Things could open December 30th and still have openen in the holiday season. So if anyone is bringing kids there be sure to manage thier expectations unless things have already opened by the time you leave for vacation.

It's possible, but there is no way to be sure at this point.

yeah, really if the best way to do this is to just keep informing yourself. details come in every day about something, so it's not like there's no news or pictures to go with.

I am doubting there will be "soft openings" since they are basically just taking the walls down. I am wondering if they don't just handle it Carsland style. You have a date the walls come down - and that's the opening date. Just my thought..

I am really looking forward to eating at Be Our Guest.

Has anyone else heard anything about either of the following?

1. Once Be Our Guest opens, Cinderella's Royal Table will be closed for refurbishment.

2. There will be a Rapunzel's Tower next to a waterfall at the new entrance to Fantasyland from Liberty Square and the restrooms that are being built at the old Skyway Station will be themed as the Snuggly Duckling building from Tangled.

Not saying they are going to serve any food at Snuggly Duckling, but that the buildings that are going to be the mens' room and the women's room will look like the Snuggly Duckling building from Tangled. I don't know how to include a picture, but if you look at the blueprint for these restrooms the women's has a round tower entrance and the Snuggly Duckling tavern had a tower as part of it. The Rapunzel tower will be in forced perspective and won't be able to be accessed because it will have a waterfall and then a stream. Guests will come over a little bridge and encounter the Snuggly Duckling restrooms...and then continue on to It's A Small World. Peter Pan's Flight will takeover the current restroom area there and that will become part of an interactive queue with the building also losing the tournament facade and getting a much nicer and intricate facade like at DLR.

I've been emailing Jennifer Fickley-Baker at the official Disney blog about both of these but she won't respond (not that I blame her as I know they strictly control news). My niece just really wants to know about Rapunzel's Tower so I wish I can get that confirmed. She keeps saying, "Please tell me if it's real Aunty Patty, PLEASE!" and it breaks my heart that I can't say yes or no if this is happening.

The only thing my niece and nephew love more than Rapunzel is Princess and the Frog. It just kills me that I can't tell them that Tiana will be getting a special place of her own in the Fantasyland Expansion.

I wish and wish and wish there would have been a PatF dark ride included as well as a Tiana's Palace restaurant.

The Rapunzel themeing along with the tower have been confirmed by two of our local insiders. You can even see a piece of one of the construction drawings in this post:

but it's confirmed that it's coming in 2012... January is the first month of the year... if anything a pessimist would say December

Yeah, and attractions always open when Disney has announced they will, the original Test Track is a good example. ;)

i know i'm being too optimistic when i say this, but Disney has better technology now, and New Fantasyland looks way too 98% finished to not open in the scheduled time.

remember, things today are very different than things back then.
