Fantasmic

On our last trip to Disney, me and the wife went to Fantasmic for my second time. First one back in 2013. I was excited and remembered liking it but that was not the case. I liked the beginning with Mickey and the music but the rest not so well. It seemed like they did a 15-30 second ransom scenes from different movies then a few movies of the water/video effect which to me was boring. The worst part was after. I understand crowds are bad and I need to be patient but it took 45 minutes to make it back to the entrance. Why do they only have one exit for this? Since it’s near the end of the day, why not have a path that goes straight to the exit with buses than having to walk through the park?

A path to the front of the park that bypasses food, beverage and gift locations. Never let that come to pass! How will Disney drain people of their last remaining dollars or give opportunity for one more family meltdown when little Billy is told he can’t have any more sweets, sorry, candy.

If memory serves me right there is a path that bypasses the entrance route and takes you backstage. But I think it still puts you back onstage inside the park.

Whilst it’s a pain, if there was a super quick path straight the busses the transport would get overwhelmed very quickly. At least the slow filter into the park helps stagger this to some extent.

I know it’s dificult, but my advice is take it slow. Enjoy the warm evening breeze, and the atmosphere. Or do as I do and sit at the back by the exit to make a speedy get away before the rest of the suckers!! 😁

Yeah, we went on a side exit but it puts you straight back in between 2 stores still next to beauty and the beast show. So you get about 50 yards closer to the exit taking that way
