Thanks

Thanks Mr.MouseFan. I finally got a chance to download it, and you're right, it is a great quality video! Well worth the time it took me to download it!(1hr and 55min on a T1 connection!):hammer:

You guys are very welcome. It took me about 12 hours in total to download that thing, but I'm glad I did. Whenever I get the Disney bug, I just put on Fantasmic. How great is that? LOL

My network at school is really slow. (You think College would have a fast server) It took 10 hours to download Fantasmic. It was so worth it. I considered it the queue line for it. (I just got in line ahead of time to guarantee a seat) :hammer:

How big is that High Quality video? I have a horrid dial-up so I'm thinking I'll take a CDR to school and dump it on that. Any idea?

You say "no thank you", and pay for it (best to use a best buy card, 90 days same as cash) install it. and you'll be turing vhs into mpegs in no time

:king:

And then you go home and realize you just wasted money on a usless peice of hardware that has minimal support and choppy video in/out...not to mention lacking 3d support...and a tendency to overheat ;)

To MGMBoy

It is BIG. I have a T1 connection here at college and it took me 1hr and 55min to download at 126kb/sec. The entire file is 384 meg, so it will fit on a CD. (BUT IT WILL TAKE UP HALF OF THE SPACE!):)

Goooooooooooood!

I must say, if you haven't downloaded WDWMagic's video of fantasmic , you need to. The video it dead center, it doesn't constantly zoom in and out so you can see the whole show, and to top it off the sound and video quality are great! Thanks steve for such a great video!:sohappy:

Fantasmic on VHS

I've made a VHS version of Disneyland's Fantasmic. The tape has received great reviews from those who have seen it, and features numerous camera angles to capture the complete show in good quality. It features a well edited mix of close ups and complete scene shots to create a unique experience allowing you to see some parts of the show that you might otherwise miss.
I have not seen Fantasmic in Florida, but I've been told by people that have seen both, that the Disneyland show is larger in scale, and somewhat better. Anyone interested in more info can e-mail me at:

Since it's a pretty high quality MPEG, you can use software such as NERO (demo available for free download) to burn it into VCD format (probably even SVCD format given it's length). Then, you can play it in a home DVD player.

I know what tonight's project will be.
