Fantasmic without dining and priority seating

Hi - We've done the buffet dinner at Hollywood and Vine twice and had priority seating for Fantasmic. That was when we took our granddaughters. Now we're taking our grandson and he would love the SciFi diner for dinner. We'll be on the dining plan. IF you don't have priority seating, how long would the wait be to get into Fantasmic and I don't even know where the entrance would be. Can you help me out? Please. :hammer:

Last year we ate at the Brown Derby and had priority seating and walked in at the last minute. The folks who walked in with the "general population" arriving the same time as we did sat right next to us.

Depends a little on when you are going and how crowded the park is.

We have not used a dinner package for Fantasmic but we have done it both ways:

1. Arrive almost an hour early to get a middle seat. (Boring)

2. Arrived 15 minutes before it started and sat all the way over on the left.

Result: No difference in viewing. There are no bad seats at Fantasmic.

When leaving, it takes longer to get out if you are on the left but it's not bad.

Good luck.

Hi!

We have never used priority seating when viewing Fantasmic. We usually try to arrive at least an 30-45 mintures before they open the amplitheater. (mainly because we like to sit about 5 rows up in the middle of the amplitheater). They usually open about 1 hour before show time. We also usually go during the summer when it is somewhat more crowded. If you are going during a less crowded time of year you might not have to get there so early.

The entrance to the Hollywood Hills Amplitheater is located on Sunset Blvd just before the entrance to ToT and kinda by Beaty and the Beast.

I hope the information i post is correct....if not, there are plenty of knowledgable people on here to help!

Have a Magical Trip!

You enter right next to the Beauty and the Beast theater. Timing really all depends on when you're going because summer is busier. I'd say arrive at theater entrance 30 minutes prior. It takes a few minutes to walk all the way in and get seats. That still ought to leave you enough time to hit the restrooms before the show starts.

Centre seats are the best as you have a perfect view of everything, side s seats still offer a good view of the performance.

Arrive for when the gates open to be sure of a central seat otherwise you can be seated up to 30 mins before show starts during busier times
