We made ressies for the Fantasmic Dinner Package for our trip in Oct.. Should I worry that we didn't get a confirmation letter or do we just need to show them the confirmation number which I have?
Getting close (Oct. 4th), can't wait!!!
Thanks for your help..

We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package (at Mamma Melrose) a couple of years ago. We got a voucher type paper with our final documents; you will get your tickets at the end of the meal.

Save all your paperwork and bring it with you on your trip...just in case.

In April we had a pkg with Hollywood and Vine. They just asked for my name--no conformation number. But like Tigsmom said--bring everything.

I did the Fantasmic pkg in May at Hollywood and Vine and was given a conf # but they never asked for it. I've never been asked for a conf # at any of the PS that I have made in the past. Like the others have said, always bring it along just in case. Enjoy! :)

Just a tip for ya! We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package and received our passes after the meal. We were told to arrive at the specified location at 8:30 for the 9:00 show. We followed the instructions to the letter. We, and about 25 other people were expecting reserved seating near the center but we barely managed to get a seat in the last section on the far right...there were NO reserved seats, nothing roped off like we were told. Some people were pretty darn upset about this.
I don't think I'll ever do the Dinner Package again....I could've gotten those seats by walking in just before the start of the show. By the way, we made our dinner reservations while we were there with no problem. We had to give our credit card to hold the reservation, BUT, here's the clincher, we were told if we were NO-SHOWS, we would be charged $10 per person on our credit card...some imagination, huh?

Gee, they sure didn't tell me about the $10.00 charge when I called for the reservations. Think I'll call back and find out exactly where our seats should be. She did tell me what time to be at Hollywood & Vine and to be at the specified location about a half hour early but that's all. I know you don't get a "reserved seat" but I want to know about where we set our tired bones down!
Thanks for all the help guys. You came through for me again.

When I did the Fantasmic Dinner package last November, there were reserved seats sectioned off, but to be honest - they weren't the best seats. I was somewhat disappointed because I booked the package expecting really good seats you know? The person I was traveling with had seen it two other times and had always had better seats without doing the package. I just think that if Disney is going to offer a dinner package with reserved seats, then the people purchasing the package should get really good seats. The whole thing just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope your experience is better! Regardless of anything though, the show is great and the meal will be great so - all is not lost! :animwink:

With the package you get in earlier...so just pick aseat. You don't have to stay in the roped off section. When we arrived there were people sitting everywhere, and the general public had not been lert in the theatre yet.

In general with all PS at WDW, they used to send you yellow letters as a confirmation in the mail but they stopped doing that. Just write down the number they give you and take it with you (as others have said).

The reserved seats were a bit far to the right on our last visit, so we opted to not use the package and claim mid theater seats 90 min. prior. Just bring something to sit on (jacket, rain poncho) because those seats leave their mark on your rear fast! :D

This is very true, the ponchos didn't even feel like enough padding, but it helped. The towels they sell do come in handy for some things other than staying dry! The first time I saw Fantasmic! it was from the Dinner package. I agree the seats were a little far on the right side of the theater but still not bad overall. This last time I got there earlier and sat right in the middle of the theater and middle of our section. The seats were awesome, but I'd rather have been in the front more.
