Here's a short video that with the show's highlights:

Enjoy!

---------------EDIT
Hello everyone!

A few months ago I started this ambitious project called Fantasmic! in miniature. It is exactly a replica of the Disneyland’s show but in a miniature scale. By replica is understand that it will include all characters, real water, fire and colorful dancing fountains as well as a real scaled fire breathing dragon and mini pyro explosives. I have a blog I have been writing since March this year and have lots of updates, images and videos you may find interesting to know about. My goal is to present it this summer to my family and friends for all to enjoy. Also I would like to know what do all of you think about it as well as some constructive criticism or comments of any kind. Thanks and hope to see you in your journey beyond your wildest imagination!

Joe.

Thanks! I updated the blog with lots of info recently and here is some of the month of May. These are the videos of the 3D scenery and the Aerial view of the entire structure including the firework barges and water area. Also, a small video of part of the animation re-rendered for the water screen. Hope you all enjoy!

wow this looks incredible so far!

I think since you have a lot more creative freedom, you should have gone ahead and used the mountain from dhs instead of the cabin from dl.

New entry on the blog. Yes, the project is still on foot! We just returned back to work a few days ago.

Here's a brief description of what have we done the last weeks:

The scheduled date for the premiere of the show is Saturday, December 3rd. We are managing to see if we could add the Live Stream video on this very night for all of you to watch the show.

Character Barges: 90% done. They have a design that's very similar to the one in Fantasmic! and the characters (ie: Monkeys and King Louie) are all set.

Here is a picture of the King Louie barge with his pal monkeys around him.

Cider Mill: 90% done. Added some decorations such as windows, lamps, old rustic elements and a special details. Who of you can tell me what is it? Here are some pics:

Main shot of Cider Mill. Some work being done.

You can notice that it also has a new chimney like the real Cider Mill.

What you can see on the sides are the tower lights that will change on various colors during the show.

Pyrotechnics: 95% done. The electric cables that should electrically ignite the pyro for the show are in place and have been tested. These cables work on a manual firing system that enables the pyrotechnician to light the fireworks in a choreographed way so that they ignite with the music.

These are the e-alligators that will connect to the pyro fuse and light it.

As a reminder, the facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fantasmic-in-miniature/192588727426412) is always welcoming new comments and ideas. You can step by to "like" the project and tell your friends about it. Thanks! Take care!
