Course correction on a parade? Or your mean where drones go next? Certainly hope they won’t change course on a parade in favor of a MK drone show.

Not sure if you can say, but if this is coming next year I would assume they're probably building the floats right now then?

Paint the Night was great at Disneyland, but it would feel really tired at MK. They deserve their own. If they're going to go through the operational hurdles of having a nighttime parade, they might as well do it right. They don't want another Harmonious. Obviously Paint the Night is NOT Harmonious, but if they don't do a good job with this, it's going to be very frustrating. I guess I'll take what we can get.

Update on performance times for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, according to the Walt Disney World website.

Festival of Fantasy Parade: from June 30 through July 6, the performances times are listed as 12pm and 3pm. From July 7 through at least August 3, the performance time returns to just 3pm.

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade: on June 30, July 1, July 2, July 5 and July 6, the performance times are listed as 5:10pm and 6:25pm. On July 3 and 4, there is a single performance at 5:10pm. From July 7 through at least August 3, the performance times are 10:30am and 11:45am.

Here's a look at updated performance times starting in August for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, according to the Walt Disney World website.

Festival of Fantasy Parade: from August 4 though August 31, the performance time shifts from 3pm to 2pm.

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade: from August 4 though August 31, there is one scheduled performance at 11:15am.

I'm just waiting for Adv Friends to just permanently end its run already, it just lost its charm that I already explained in a separate post.., but i'll just list several reasons why it needs to end asap(before the year ends and before the current mess of Festival of Fantasy gets replaced):
-Disney refuses to phase out Elena of Avalor despite the fact that the show has been cancelled for years, unless something new for the Queen of Avalor is announced at D23(theme park ride or feature film) in August, then what's the point of Elena when Miguel and the Encanto gang have already became permanent Latina Representation at the parks and Elena was so 2017(they already booted Sofia(who is a major factor of Elena's story) from MGM-Studios five yrs prior for Fancy Caillou, so if they can't bring Sofia back, then Elena will be phased out, like they should have done if the pandemic never happened in early 2021, but it didn't)
-Moana being reduced to be on foot when she's more popular than Merida and Elena is a crime against humanity
-Woody and Jessie are not allowed to be paired up together at more than one park at the same time, they're already paired at TSL, there's no reason for the two to be paired in this cavalcade
-Characters that should be met daily like Bruno and Raya deserve meetable spots, but they don't because Disney is afraid to bring out their newer stars and yet..., we still have the disgraced Fancy Nancy meeting at MGM and Olaf not yet being phased out from Celebrity Spotlight when its purpose was to change out the characters like the old animation attraction every few months
-Not enough adventurous friends, especially with a major criticism being the lack of Russell and Dug in this(a mutual told me that), and was just characters held over from the COVID era cavalcades like a few from the Goofy/Disney Friends Cavalcade

This is just to allow for float drivers and performers to get proper rest. Between am rehearsals for Halloween and Christmas, daily operations, events, and overnight rehearsals they are always stretched very thin.

I wonder how they will manage the new nighttime parade? Hire more float drivers and performers?
