Hopefully the Dragon being featured in all of the marketing from WDW for FoF’s return is enough to quash that weird rumor that the dragon wouldn’t be used.

Also, very weird to see the hoedown back, makes me question the previous info I’ve received on entertainment schedule structuring.

The Disney Parks Blog makes mention of it specifically, so yes, it's definitely returning:

I don’t doubt that it was considered (they’re cheap) but I always struggled to believe they’d cut such an iconic showpiece. I expect cuts elsewhere, but that dragon is the highest rated portion of the parade. And they can still only show it *at night* during DAH.

Oh it was cut. They only brought it back because of the backlash online when the bloggers and internet caught wind of it and shared the news.

Agreed. I know a few reputable sources in entertainment and they had not heard it was cut. That said they also could not confirm it was not cut. That said I agree with you, it seems unlikely that the most memorable showpiece of the entire parade would be cut.

I just never believed they would follow-through. It was too egregious.
