Fantasmic Dinner Packages already booked???

So I called this morning exactly 180 days before to book H&V Fantasmic Dinner package for May 9th and was told NONE were available. Checked Mama Melrose too. Now I know it's popular and that on property guest get a 10 day "head start", but that seems weird, no??

I had that same issue for my trip last fall. I called 180-days out, got all my ADRs except a Fantasmic Dinner package. They said they weren't available yet. I called later that day, and got the same message.

When I called a 3rd time, they were all booked. I asked how could that happen when I called twice earlier and they weren't accepting them yet. The rep had no answer for it. Oh well...

We have never gotten the fantasmic package in our last four trips. Its like they dont exist. we did the whole 180 thing as well. And you cant book this package online either, or at least not 150 days ago. Hope you get in.

i also called on the AM of my 180 days, asking for ANY fantasmic package for 6 days into my reservation..........meaning only 4 days worth of folks could have beaten me to them. i was told there were none available. when i explained several times in a row that i found that difficult to believe at 186 days out..........she got off the phone, came back 5 minutes later and VOILE, i could have any of the 3 restaurants, take my pick.
i suspect they need to check somewhere other than the regular reservations page and not all of them get it, now that i hear other folks having the same trouble.
i would be persistent and insist they check with someone else. although it may indeed be too late now.

I, too, have called over the past few days. My 180 days was this past Saturday. They said they are having a problem with the system and the May dates have not loaded yet. They told me to keep calling back to check. This has been verified by supervisors as well.

I am not trying to demean or disparge anyone, but try a TA like the good folks at KK. I havnt had any problems at all getting the fantasmic ressie. In fact I made two last week.

It is a glitch in the system. I called at 7 am at 180 days out, and with the plus 10 feature the Fantasmic package I wanted to book was 187 days out. Nothing available but Brown Derby. Huh?? Thanked the CM and hung up. Tried again around noon the same day and got Mama Melrose at 5:15 pm. Turns out H&V and MM hadn't bee loaded into the computers yet.

On a similar note, I also had trouble booking Teppan Edo and La Hacienda de San Angel for our April trip at 180 days. For some reason those restaurants hadn't been loaded, either.

I hope they don't run out that quick. We have never seen Fantasmic and want to when we go in September. I am hoping we can get a package 180+10days out. I really do not want to stand and wait 45min to an hour before the show when we could be doing other stuff.

Called again today a couple time with NO luck. Very weird. So we will keep our 6:30 ADR at 50's PT and take my chances walking in to Fantasmic

The Dining reservation system at Disney is hard to work with.

I'm very familiar with it and there are times when you know something is available, but the computer thinks otherwise.

I don't know if certain people can override it, but whatever the computer comes up with is what you have to abide by.
