I will be staying at the poly september 8th to september 15th of this year and wanted to know if it is essential to book the fantasmic dinner package in advance or would i be able to book during my stay as it may be quieter this time of year . thanks in advance for any advice

Definitely book it in advance. These packages sell out super quick. I'd call at your 180 day mark if you want to be sure.

September is not normally very busy, but I would still recommend you do it. I actually got one yesterday for my trip in may, but Id be safe and book it at ur 180 day mark.

I would say yes. It sells out very quickly. You might get lucky and score one when you are there but I would not chance it.

We've been there the exact same time three of the last four years. The first year I couldn't get the Fantasmic Package at my 180 day mark nor were there any cancellations once we got there. I was able to book it the next two times. I would definitely book it if there is a spot available at the restaurant of the three you want to go to.

I always book in advance. We booked the Brown Derby Fantasmic package for August and we weren't able to get the time we really wanted - we are going to dine much earlier than desired. The earlier you book, the more control you'll have over your reservation time.
