Fantasmic Dessert Package

I have been thinking about booking the Fantasmic Dessert Package for my upcoming trip in the middle of December, but was wondering if anyone has any experience on how quickly this sells out? I would like to wait until closer to my trip to book it so if there is bad weather I am not paying $40 a person for dessert only, but don't want to wait too long to see it sells out. Considering I plan on going on a Monday the week before Christmas I don't expect full on holiday crowds just yet, but want to be safe.

We've done it twice I think its a good value since you get decent seats and don't have to wait in line or use a fastpass. I would think you could cancel 24 hours in advance without penalty like any other reservation for weather.
