Fannypack or Backpack?

I'm planning on going to Disney alone. This has given me a new problem to think about, as I've previously just piggybacked off someone else's bag. Are fannypacks searched? What about camera cases around the neck? I'd honestly prefer to go without any bag, but at the bare minimum I will need my camera, phone, and debit card. If I didn't need the camera I'd just go with an around the neck money pouch but unfortunately I do need space for a camera.

I get not wanting to drag anything. I understand. I also like coming here and getting other's creative ideas, but if you must I admit I haven't experienced long lines at security. And yes I've been at the hottest and some of the busiest times.

I love mini crossbodies for trips. Vera bradley has one out called "Mini turnlock crossbody". Its just big enough for my camera in one side, phone in the other and money and cards in the zipper in the middle. I love it. I have a little camera.

I really do hate dragging things. You are lucky too, a few years back my mom was held up for 20 minutes in the bag line. Plus, her disney ticket turned out to be unactivated, which was a huge ordeal. She even brought her receipt with her because she felt like the boy in the Disney Store had no clue what he was doing. It ended up being almost 2 hours before we could get into Magic Kingdom.

Well - if you're both going to subject the rest of us to the sight of packs or crocs at least they're covered in Disney flare. I'll never be against oodles of charms, pins, ears, or character pics. :)
Haha, at one point I had a Rapunzel, Pascal, Beast, Kermit, Ariel, Belle, Piglet, Jiminy Cricket, and Nemo all on that one pair of crocs. I even had them arranged so no colors clashed. :hilarious:

I'd suggest a small crossbody bag, along the lines of a Vera Bradley mini hipster or a small Baggallini crossbody bag (http://www.ebags.com/category/handbags/cross-body-bags/b/baggallini?origin=left_nav). If you're a man, there are other crossbody options -- http://www.ebags.com/category/messenger-and-shoulder-bags/shoulder-bags/g/mens.

I've done packs (back in the day) and crossbody bags to WDW, and I prefer the crossbody bags because the strap length is easily adjustable, so you can wear them on every single WDW attraction (and I have!) and adjust the strap to suit the restraint system on each attraction, if needed. Also, unlike a backpack or fannypack, a crossbody bag hangs somewhat free and isn't held tight to your body, so it doesn't create a "sweaty spot" anywhere, but it's just as effortless to wear.

That actually is a good idea, because in my normal day to day life I either use backpack purses or cross body. But I don't want my bulky purse shaped like the green M&M in Disney. I'll probably go on a thrift store hunt for a suitably small one later this week. Its also occurred to me that I want an autograph book for characters, so I'd really better bring some sort of bag.
