Family Suites

I was looking on the Disney webiste the other day looking for the new all-star family suites. and i seems that by lookin at the website that they don't exist. But I know from here that the do and that a few people have even stayed in them. I was just wondering how I can find the price or information about them. Im trying to convince my mom that we can afford a trip this year...:)

I just went on the Disney site and found this for you....

To reserve suite types not available through online booking, call (407) WDW-MAGIC (939-6244).

If you go to the site and then to RESORTS I found it under All Star Sports. It says it in the paragraph at the top before you pick what type of room you want. Hope this helps.

Has anyone from this board stayed at the family suites at All-Star Music? If so, do you mind sharing your experience? I'm considering booking there next spring. Thanks!

Sure, I stayed there for my birthday this past June and it was great! I loved the extra privacy and the 2 bathrooms, and the kids loved the extra TV. The room even had a great kitchen. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, in my opinion, much better then staying in 2 connecting rooms.

Let me know if you have other questions!

The only issue I have with the suites is the price. If you are paying rack rates on rooms the suites are a great deal but as a Fl resident and AP holder we rarely pay rack rates. Unfortunately Disney does not discount suites so it is much cheaper for me to get 2 rooms at a value or stay at POR to accommodate my party of 5. When we checked for our recent October 5-8 trip the suites were over $200 per night where POR was $130 and 2 rooms at a value would have been about $150. The extra bathroom would have been nice but definitely not worth an extra $70 a night. If the rumor holds true of the POP century being completed and the majority of the rooms being suites hopefully Disney will have AP or FL resident rates on them.

Yeah, I understand. I am an AP holder AND a FL Resident so I too am used to getting deals at Disney resorts all the time. If there happens to be a promotion going on and I can stay at another resort for a much better rate, then I stay elsewhere. For example, this Xmas, we are staying at the WL for only $150 a night and that is WITH tax. So, in a situation like that, we pick another resort, but if no discounts are available, I much rather stay in a suite for the sake of privacy and the extra bathroom. I also like how the suite feels more homey to me, more like an apartment then a hotel room. That is important to me, so for me, the suite is worth the extra money.

If you are trying to price them out on the disney site the dates that you want may be sold out and therefore they are not showing up for you. If you need pricing for specific dates for this year please feel free to contact me to see if I can pull them up for you.
