Family portrait with Mickey

Where would we go to have a family portrait taken with Mickey? I've tried to find info on Studio M at the Marketplace, and it seems to have closed. Is there anywhere we could have a family picture taken with Mickey? Our daughter wants a picture with Mickey, and I'm lost. Thanks in advance for any help.

Disney Chase charge card gets you a free 5x7 with Mickey

We use our Chase Disney rewards card in Epcot to get our family picture with Mickey Minnie and Pluto. Only Disney Chase card members allowed. There are specific times, but a great picture. They takes many photos while your family is in there. They will even use your camera also.

^^^^ She didn't mention it, but her avatar is from the place she was talking about. It is great because your family gets LOTS of individual time with the characters- and not just Mickey.

My family got a 'portrait' done with Mickey in 2006. There were eight of us, my wife and I, our three children with one son-in-law, and my parents. We arrived dressed in nice clothes, including ties for the guys and dresses for the gals. we tried to coordinate with Mickey colors: red, white, yellow, and black. We packed walking-around clothes to change into for later. We went straight to Toontown and waited for the first opportunity to see Mickey. When we told the attendant what we were doing, they let us in the room by ourselves since there was almost no line yet. The picture was great, but for some privacy reasons I would prefer not to post the picture (if it was just me it would be no problem!). But believe me when I say it turned out great, and has become a treasured family memory!

you go to Epcot, Innoventions...it is the one on the right as you enter past Spaceship Earth and just show them your Chase Disney Visa at the specified times and they let you in for the picture, then you go to the photopass\ Kodak shop next to Spaceship Earth later to pick up your picture

Try to show up relatively early to the Visa meet'n'greet. When I was there in November, the line was really long the first couple of times we stopped by, and it moves really slowly because each group gets so much individual attention. Even if there are only 5 families in front of you, it can easily be a 30 minute wait. When we finally decided to wait on our last day at Epcot, we were the third group in line and still waited almost 20 minutes. It was worth it though. I'm one of those people who never buys Photopass pictures, so it was nice to have one to take home. Although I must say, my friend and I are still a little creeped out by the Pluto that was there that day... He kept hugging us. A lot. It was awkward. You can definitely tell that from the picture, too.

Someone already mentioned it, but I thought it was worth reinforcing that Mickey is not guaranteed to be one of the characters appearing at the Disney Visa Meet & Greet. Although I also have to say that each of the four or five times I've done it, Mickey has been there. I've seen him in his regular black/white/red suit, in his Sorcerer outfit, and in his Year of a Million Dreams blue and silver suit.

You can also find Mickey in a new location at the Studios, he is within the Disney Animation tour, and he has a nice backdrop that looks like the archway entrance to the Animation Courtyard. The setup of the queue is such that when you get to Mickey, you would have a nice clear area for a family picture.

This is correct, Mickey and Pluto switch off about every half hour with Minnie and Goofy. BUT if you let the attendant at the door know, they'll will tell you when to come back to see Mickey and Pluto.

I can't recall if I've ever seen Minnie in there.

I've gotten Mickey & Pluto, Mickey & Goofy, Mickey & Stitch, and once I actually got Mickey and Pluto and Goofy!!

If you can't swing the Visa situation listed above and need to resort to using the Judge's Tent in Toon Town, be sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street and verify times Mickey will be there.

Have a magical day!

Really? Stitch is quite random!

Technically it should be Mickey and Pluto switching off with Minnie and Goofy- and Donald used to be there as well, I think he was with Minnie and Goofy. That's crazy that you missed her all three times!

I would do Sorcerer Mickey in the animation building in HS. It would make a great family shot. We got there right as his first meet and greet began and there was no line at all.

I would love to take a family portrait with Mickey and Minnie with my family dressed nicely. Super idea. It could even be used as a holiday card. It might just be too much to carry around....but I suppose we could stash it in a locker...hmmm!!;)
