Fall Trolley Show

That being said, it am still really happy that we are getting seasonal offerings. As someone who is in the park several times a month, it is fun to see new things. And the choreogrophy is awesome. I was talking to one of my friends who is a performer in the show while they were learning the new routine over the summer and he was telling us that it was going to be way more complicated than the original and that there would be a lot more tap. Hats off to the performers -- they make it look good!

I was actually kind of disappointed last time I saw the original show (in Feb) because some of the performers just didn't seem into it. It was like they were phoning it in, and I know the routine isn't complicated.

Look forward to seeing the new show in person!

Some of the trolley performers have been doing the show for quite a while, and I think with performing the same routine 12 - 16 times a day, 5 days a week there would be times that you could perform while sleepwalking. :D I think because this one is 1. new and fresh, 2. more difficult dance steps, and 3. alternating versions at each stop you will see the performers engaged all the time.

I do hope that they come up with a different show for each season. I wouldn't expect a winter show this year (they would already be rehearsing it now) but maybe for Spring...? :)

In all the YouTube Videos I've Seen of this show(meaning before this Fall overlay)I've never seen any lack of energy from the dancers. Was it cold that day in Feb when you saw it?

Sure MK's entertainment is looking great if you forget the 9 year old Wishes (now with less pyro!), the 20 year old Spectro, the embarassing display of an afternoon parade limping along on life support after 11 years, and the ever tired castle show. And let's not forget those great shows they put on at the Diamond Horsehoe and Galaxy Palace theaters! (oh wait...)

That said, I always liked the trolley show and appreciate that they are making little changes to it. Some have suggested that they may be having seasonal shows, which is a great idea. It also looks like there will be some additional small scale entertainment (improv "characters", circus acts) with the new FL, which is appreciated.

It's good to have some perspective though.

Maybe I used the wrong words about MK’s Entertainment Department because I’ve always thought that MK’s Entertainment Department have done and still does a spectacular job with their big stuff: Welcome Show, Trolley, Street Party, Parades, Fireworks and Castle shows. Cindybration could have been a lot better, but it was still nice. What I meant to say was that the CTM art looks good so far(I read somewhere else that a person who worked on Dreams is also working on CTM) and the new fall trolley show is brilliant, what else does MK has up their sleeves?

I just noticed on Steve's video that there was a date that read Sep 18th 2012. Does that mean it was just filmed yesterday?? If so, that's pretty impressive to film what looks like 3 Trolley Shows, edit them and get it online by 2PM CT!
