My wife and I hit 10 years I. September 2019. Where else would we celebrate, but with our favorite mouse! We will be at Disney in less than 2 months, and I'm already looking at a next trip haha! Is there any special weeks to look out for pricing wise and or bad weeks vacation good weeks between late August and before Christmas hits?

YES! Go the two weeks after Labor Day, when all the kids and teachers are back in school. o_O:banghead: It will still be crowded but nothing like Halloween week! I believe this is a time of year when discounts are usually offered, too. Make sure this year, you call from your room and ask about a "bounce back" offer. They may have one for early September!

You can do that? Wait we're going g with my daughter this trip. The next would just be my wife and I. Is that still viable?

You can, except the current bounce back offer is for select dates in 2018. In order to get a bounce back for September 2019, you would need to vacation late this year (Nov/Dec) or sometime in 2019.

I went in August of last year. 26-Sept 1. The crowds were not bad at all! Plus if you like Halloween the 1st Not So Scary Halloween party started while we were there. (Never to early to get Halloween Minnie Ears :) )

The only drawback was rain everyday - but that's Florida for you. Honestly it was hot so it felt good!

Our very first trip as a family was the like middle of august. Halloween stuff had just started to be seen, and it did rain everyday, but we used it to our advantage and wore the ponchos, and enjoyed less crowds, Well except for being trapped in the backlot cafe one night due to flooding ha!

That's Labor Day weekend. That will probably still be crowded. If you can go mid week, like Sept 4-8, maybe you'll have better luck cause the kids are back in school and you'll definitely have better flight deals, midweek!:greedy:

We live about 11 hours away so driving is much cheaper. 40 bucks in gas, vs 100s in flights. So that's not an issue. I'm not tied to being there on the actual date, but in that general area.

Mainahman...let's get your dates clear for everyone... You are going MARCH 3-10 2018 But you are asking for Fall 2019 for your anniversary on September 5 2019 and beyond, correct?

I would go either right after school starts back up in September 2019 OR wait until weeks 1 or 2 of December 2019, the crowds USE TO BE manageable, but someone else can tell you what the crowds are like nowadays in December! Going in December, assuming you make your ressies earlier, you can enjoy the Christmas decorations, Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party and the Christmas Parade!

I was considering august 31st though the 7th. i know what to expect for weather, but crowds?
I an old pro at the dates you mentioned. I was at WDW during the final week of August last year and stayed a couple days after Labor Day. I always found most of the week before Labor Day not busy. Kids will be in School by Late August, but will be off during Labor Day Weekend. Crowds will be up during Labor Day weekend That weekend is going affect MK based on my experience.

Stay away from MK if possible during Labor Day weekend.

The Food and Wine festival was running during the Labor Day weekend last year for Epcot. I found Epcot better for the Food and Wine Festival better on Tuesday than on Labor Day last year. Epcot was busy on Labor Day, but got plenty of rides due to Fast Pass plus.

AK was not bad outside of Pandora for Labor Day weekend last year. I went there the day before Labor Day. Pandora was very busy based on what I saw and didn't even bother going to Pandora. I think its possible that one of the two attractions might go down in lines by the time 2019 Labor Day weekend comes since Pandora would be open over 2 years in 2019.

The problem is I can't give accurate information on DHS is going to be like on on Labor Day weekend in 2019. DHS on Labor Day weekend in 2019 will not have Star Wars: Galaxies Edge open yet, but I think its possible that the Mickey and Minnie ride might be open by the time you go at DHS. I think you'll be dealing with a DHS theme park that is going to be more busy than what I faced Labor Day Weekend there last year. I was at DHS in the morning and early Afternoon on Friday last year. I count Friday as part of Labor Day weekend since its possible for some people wanting the Friday off for Labor Day weekend.

Our very first trip in 2012 was all before this fastpass plus stuff etc, and was mid August. Minus the heat it wasn't unbearable. I'm ok with later in fall if that's a better crowd option.

Congrats!! My hubby and I will hit 10 years in August 2019! I'm trying to convince him to take me alone for a couple days in September 2019. I plan on using David's rentals and the prices are cheaper a week or two into September so that's my goal. Hopefully you guys get to celebrate at Disney for your 10th!!!

Thanks!!

Thats the intent, just gotta find a way to make the budget work. Planning to stay at POP as usual, would love to stay somewhere moderate, but then your talking serious $$$, and we normally are always in the parks, and never at the resort.
