Fall Discounts?

Im sorry to ask, as Im sure it is already somewhere else. Im just hoping somebody would be nice enough to tell me if anyone knows when the Fall room-only discounts will be out for passholders in November. I see the current special only shows through Sept 26th. Thanks!!

Possibly in a couple of weeks based on past history and speaking with a wdw phone agent.

Discounts are out now for the general public. I booked a room at general discount and will call when pass holder rates are available to have discount modified.

I think it's wrong that Disney does not prioritize pass holders. The agent I spoke with would not directly comment on that when I asked if she thought that was odd. She kept repeating info that was irrelevant. Some day she may be CEO.

Disney has an offer of save up to 30% through December (generally Deluxe - 30%, Moderate - 20%, Value - 15%. There are exceptions).

I use the mousesavers historical info to see a pattern (like the second thursday of the month) and use that as a guideline.

I book room only for an AP discount. I first book it without the AP discount and pay 1 night up front. Then when the AP discount is released, I apply it to my reservation. When I have to pay off the balance, it is less than it was before due to the AP discount and my higher prepayment.

no you do not have to pay a second deposti. not unless you are checking in before the discount starts, then you will want to split your stay into two parts. one with the discount, one without and will pay deposit on both. but in general, they just apply the discount, and keep the extra that you already paid as a credit for arrival

Nope. They should do that transparently on their side.

I had our room already booked regular rate, when discount came out 2 weeks ago or so I called. We already had our flights coming in 11/29 discount didn't start till 11/30. The agent booked our room on same reservation number I had starting with 11/29. I didn't get the discount for the first night, but still included it in the same reservation. So I didn't have to pay or book a seperate ressie for the 1st night. They (disney) did owe me money after all said and done, I had the refund on my credit card 3 days later, so no waiting game at all.
