Fall activities at Fort Wilderness

My sister and her son unexpectedly will be in Orlando part of Saturday and Sunday and have decided to stay the night at AS Movies. They don't plan to go into a park since they won't have a full day on either day so thought they would spend some time at DTD and Fort Wilderness. Is there anything special related to the fall going on at Fort Wilderness? Do they still do the haunted carriage ride? And would they find fall/Halloween decorations at DTD or any of the resorts - they've never been during the fall and would love to take in anything new. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I'm not entirely sure if they do the haunted carriage ride in September, I've heard it doesn't start until October but I could be completely wrong! Other than that though, going to the trading post for the campfire is always fun during the fall! Nice weather and good times!!
