Hard to say. If I had to venture a guess I would say probably not. I haven't heard anything like that. The circus like tops to everything could at least use a revamp. I can't say I'd like to see the original design leave, though.

I was there in October and they were doing some rehab to fantasyland around IASW and the Pinnochio's Haus restaurant. I can't remember if it had always been there but it looks as if the castle walls continue behind IASW (or at least it's the same "brick" material) That may have either been new or I just never noticed it before. (Does anyone else think that fantasyland is very "carnival-like" (teacups, caroussel, dumbo) (granted, they are classics...but in my opinion, they are passes)

I was thinking, I know most people don't like rides based on movies...but how come nothing has been done for Mary Poppins or Bedknobs & Broomsticks? (Timetraveling/cartoon-jumping traveling beds???) or (A cartoon horserace on caroussel horses???) I love these movies and they seem to get the shaft and get put on the back burner in the "world" What do you think?

I agree about a Mary Poppins attraction. I mean, having won 5 Oscars, it is one of the most honored Disney films and a true classic. There are so many moments from the film that could be used as a ride, almost like Peter Pan's flight, riding through the film under an umbrella, or on a carousel horse. It would be a great attraction, I think

I agree, it would make a great ride. But not in Fantasyland. I think it goes in DS.

I would love to see Bed Knobs and broomsticks ride. You could ride in a vehicle that looks like a bed and go through the different scenes. It would be so cool, and I love that movie!!!

1) Yes, a Fantasyland rehab is needed! This has been one of my major WDW complaints of all time

2) They should make a Mary Poppins ride, and they could even use simple Spiderman technology in the ride. They could use the standard WDW dark ride system, but they could incorporate 3D movies and sets into the attraction. It doesn't have to be as complicated as Spiderman, but a simpler version would still be fun, and it would definately WOW the audience.

Somehow a brand new ride in the park promoting a movie that is decades old seems rather unlikely. Although I think we can all agree that both are Disney classics, that very same fact would be why Disney probably wouldn't do it. Many young ones have never seen BN&BS and I would venture to say that there are probably quite a few that haven't seen MP yet, either... Also, the merchandise for such attractions would be somewhat limited as well.
