Hey now, Spaceship Earth isn't dated..(the show elements, the ride system is a bit creeky..)
One thing I'd like to mention, Test Track and Mission Space /are/ cutting edge futuristic attractions, Spaceship earth is older technology..Which looks more futuristic? Which is dressed inside a giant, silver geometric shape? Which houses millions of brightly colored special effects, laser-like beams, minatures of futuristic cities teaming with activity and the promise of a better tommorow?
What I'm trying to say here is that Spaceship earth uses alot of OLD stuff, (neon lights, projectors, etc..) Yet it PRESENTS a more futuristic feel to it...It doesn't have to be -new- technology, it just has to look futuristic for it to work, thats what They realized with the new tommorowland, albeit they went above and beyond the rational, but that's good for the magic kingdom, Epcot can be dressed up the same way, and people will automatically feel like they are in the future just by the way the it is presented to them.
I hope that makes sense....

Eh, weather and the ocean are two huge topics that are very connected, yet to large for both to fit in one pavillion..The possibilities for the Living Seas was only partially tapped, a dark ride, like what was originally planned, would be so much more fitting..Give Weather it's own pavillion
(Earth, Water, Air..Now all we need is 'fire' and 'heart' and we've got ourselves a green-mullet wearin' earth savin' super hero..)
