I have looked through 11 pages of threads and searched for my the answer I need, but I have not had any luck finding an answer so sorry if there is already a thread or answer to this question. I was wondering for the extra magic hours at night is that just for resort guest and is there something that I need to do when I get to the park that will allow us to stay later then the normal park closing time? I have done extra morning hours in the morning every time that I have gone, but when we go in December my parents are going to take the little ones back to the hotel so that the parents can stay and play without worrying about bed times.

all you need to do is show your resort ID at the attractions that are still open.

Enjoy your trip! Firsts are always the best! May sure you wear your 1st visit buttons, they're free!:D
Where do I get these? We actually have a lot of first timers going. My mom has been 20+ times, I have been 19, my dad 3, but my brother, sister in law, neice, nephew, DH and DD are all newbies!

Either at your resort at check in or at guest services at the Parks. I hope you all have a magical time!

Thank you so much! I have always seen people with buttons, but it was never my first time going so I never asked about them haha.

The rides are reserved for guests of EMH-participating hotels (Disney, Swan, Dolphin, DTD Hilton and SoG are all of them, I think.) The park is open to everyone. Anyone can stay, walk around, shop and eat. But if you want to get on a ride, you'll need to show a room key from an EMH-participating hotel.

I always found that a lanyard helped with showing your room key all the time.

Hope that helps!

We usually pick ours up at Epcot's customer service. They will even write special sayings on a generic pin if they don't have what you need pre-printed.

I did extra magic hours at MK last year, most everything was walk-on...and the cast member at Goofy's barnstormer let us stay on for 3 rounds lol. It's a pretty amazing experience.
