Extra Magic Hours -How do you use them?

It depends on the park:

If it's DAK, generally I use morning EMH since the animals are more rested and more active in the morning. Evening EMH at DAK is great too, though. To be honest, I'd spend most my time in DAK if given the choice but....

EPCOT... morning EMH. Evening, mayyyyyybe.

MK ... generally evening EMH because it's so much later than the other 3 parks and most people are tired by then. Also, MK is really pretty at night.

I don't even care about DHS, so I don't use EMH there.

If I don't feel like the park having EMH, and another park happens to be open during the EMH due to differing hours between parks, I go to the other park not having the EMH for lighter crowds.

In general, less people will drag themselves out of bed in the morning, so that's a lighter crowd, which is what I want in EMH.

We use morning everywhere, and I mean everywhere! The only place we will even thin about using evening is MK. We use all the morning ones because you can go and ride all the extremley popular rides before the park even opens!

I love morning EMH at Animal Kingdom. I love that hour at Epcot as well since you can do all the big-queue attractions during that time, but it does make the park more crowded later on.

The only evening one I would do is MK. There are so many attractions there the lines are usually not too bad. At Epcot on the other hand, you have the same number of people who are spread over 25 rides (or whatever it is) at MK, all trying to do Test Track and Soarin, and so they have virtually as long lines as they do during the day.

At DHS... well, it's a struggle enough to fill the day as it is, without EXTRA hours!

Morning EMH - Universally awesome *IF* you get your butt out of bed and are there BEFORE 8AM. Between 8AM and 11AM you can see more rides than most people see all day. The catch is, to get out of there before lunch - because it will be the busiest park and the busiest time of day entering mid-morning. Many people designate "this is our MK day" because they *THINK* they will get up early, don't, and still go. Anyone who goes to an EMH park at regular opening is making a big mistake.

Evening EMH - A mixed bag. Usually by the end they are pretty sparse (relative to the time of year), so I usually plan on attending even if it's just to experience the parks after-dark for the first portion of the night, and then getting my ride on at the end (often with multiple rides on the same attraction - like Splash, HM, or Pirates).
