I am so HAPPY that Disney decided to do this! It makes my job sooooo much easier. Thank you for sharing this great news!

This news isn't official enough to deserve it's own topic, so I'll just tack it on to this one for now.

As has been rumored for months now, Tapestry of Dreams is being canned. In the mean time it will be dropping it's second showing from it's daily schedule.

Nonetheless, still suprising. I guess Disney should take that as a clue that people would like a few more thrill rides at Disney.

By "people" you mean teenagers, right? Because according to trip reports from members, some people don't even go to IoA for lack of family and/or kid rides. I've said this plenty of times, and I'll say it again: I hope Disney doesn't sell its soul to the devil of thrill rides. Yes, they are cool, but stuff like PoTC and Jungle Cruise are TIMELESS. People can ride them from 8 to 80, and even Big Thunder, tame as it is, has to be left aside when you reach a certain age.

Oh no, I meant that it would be beneficial if Disney added a couple more thrill rides to its family type rides and attractions. Take MGM for example. It added Tower of Terror and Rock N Rollercoaster and its attendance went up.

I think thrill rides and family attractions can coexist in harmony if you have a good theme to the ride. (i.e, just don't erect a coaster because you want a thrill ride on property).

I was just suggesting that if Disney wants to continue to attract the younger, pre-family set AS WELL AS the family, grandparent set, adding a thrill ride every now and then would be a smart thing to do. Again, if they were done in context.

We are 30-ish single people and we still love all the "family" rides. :)

Hunchback vs Beauty

I have to say I agree that HB is way better then BAB although beauty songs are better, as a pro musicion, I canno't stand to see shows that are not real in the meaning of live songs, on HB they really sing and it is a live show while in BAB they only mimick singing and using a full playback and that sucks

the hell with BAB give me hunchback all day

So how much longer does the parade have? Its certainly no Tapestry of Nations (that was the old parade name, right?). But its still fun to see. I know my daughter loved it the last time we were there. I was looking forward to her seeing it again in December.

Glad to hear about the return of EE! I'm not a morning person either, but it's worth it, as a resort guest, to get to the parks a little earlier than the unwashed masses. :)

>>>So how much longer does the parade have?<<<

Till the end of the 100 Years celebration, maybe a little longer to include Spring Break in it's final performances.
