Extra Hours Confusion

It may just be a lack of caffeine this morning, but I am a little confused over the extra magic hours for Epcot. When they have evening hours, do they mean Future World is open later? Or World Showcase? Or both?

both. Everything is open (well, everything on the list) until 12 am (12:30 at Christmastime). Since Future World typically closes at 7, the few attractions open for EMH that don't already stay open til 9 (like Soarin, Test Track, and Mission: SPACE and a few others stay open til 9 anyway) will stay open from 7 to 12 am.

It's pretty much gotten to the point where the whole "Future World 9am-7pm" is more wrong then correct. The majority of the place now stays open until 9pm.

Do the shops in World Showcase stay open during EMH?
Last time I was there they didn't.

They didnt stay open last time when I was visiting either.
Disney sometimes does not understand what people like to do if they do not see an increase in monetary transactions.

More and more things at Disney are starting to only be based on profit.
Hopefully that will not be the norm.
